| Short space of time- one semester and so much can happen.
Firstly, my ACL. Gone. Byebye ligament. Hello to a new 3 inch scar down the anterior aspect of my left knee. My graft from the bone-patellar-bone tendon. My first hospital stay. Appreciated all the visits, calls and texts  My first operation with general anaesthesia- IVs hurt and injecting the drugs through the catheter is extremely uncomfortable. One inch diameter syringe of GA + pure oxygen... 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3... gone. A new world of immobility, crutches, limping, physiotherapy, strengthening exercises. Accumulating doctor-patient relationship experiences?
Secondly, (coincedentally) my second Christmas holiday since graduation. Short but sweet. Time spent with old friends is always great fun. Anytime. Anywhere. Hehe... putting up with the cripple on crutches 
Then, the inevitable- work. Borrowing the ubiquitous phrase from the golden arches, "I'm lovin' it!". Particular individuals in M09 have made this term more tolerable, bearable, enjoyble, likable... No names mentioned because they know who they are.

Summer's coming to an end. Wow. It's been one quick
ride, from England, to Hong Kong, to Canada... This summer has been
awesome...

canoe expeditions, cavemen + singing, girl talks + "suns", campfires +
camp wardens, car rides + camping CD compilations
Good "mom's" cooking. Good food, comfortable tents, no hiking- that's the best type of camping! Definitely not AYP!

Our annual Midsummer's Night's Feast- cooking this summer has been
great fun, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, baking, desserts... A big
merci beaucoup to my partner in crime- Sav, for all the Wed dinners =);
as well as to Cal, Mon, Jas & Sav for our "catering services" in
fine cuisine under the full moon

A 5 course meal- soup, salad, palate cleanser, main course, coffee/tea, dessert
The prepartion frenzy, No Frills shopping, the panic, the mess ups (or
lack of!), our tradition of forgetting an ingredient- always, the menu
and choosing it, the chopping of veggies (if only we had the chopping/slicing thing!), the rush, the last mins and
then marveling at how well everything turns out, how good the food
actually tastes...
*smiles* simply the best. Unforgettable.
