| i had a conversation with my dad this morning. it basically went:
dad: so now that you drive your friend to work early, you can get off work early.
me: no, that just means i work longer
i think i need a vacation

| Yesterday, my family had dinner to celebrate my dad's bday (he uses the chinese calendar). My niece was there of course and for some reason, she was in a really good mood. she kept smiling and wouldn't stop moving around. my mom carried her a lot and told my brother that she's a lot of work. anyway, so i asked if my brother and sister were like this and she said both my brother and i always moved around, but not my sister.
somehow, i mentioned that i remember falling off my bunk bed when i was little (it happened more than once). my brother said "yeah, i remember that. you were trying to climb up and fell into a basket of laundry. grace thought it was cool and tried to get you to do it again."
...
it was also de's bday, yesterday. happy bday, de!!

| i normally don't really make resolutions. i think i made one last year to learn piano, but i gave up on that one the first week. i'll make a realistic, achievable one this year though. actually, i'll have two categories
real resolutions
1. no more artificial sugars. that means no diet sodas, no sugar-free ___.
2. teach my doggie to fetch
fake resolutions
1. finish cleaning my room in january
2. keep room clean
3. no unnecessary spending in january
4. buy a nintendo wii (this doesn't count as unnecessary spending if i find it in january)

| I hope everyone had fun celebrating their new year.
i guess i have a lot to leave behind in 2006 and a lot to look forward to in 2007. 2006 was definitely a dramatic year for me. i lost a good friend, (well, more like rejected, haha) but i learned stuff, matured a little bit. met some new people.
so i've decided to start the new year right and clean my room. too bad it'll prolly take all month to clean it, haha.
i feel like i need to do something to makeover my soul (like how cher did in clueless). um, for now, i'll leave that open.
i'm also determined to get a nintendo wii by feb. i wonder if that has a better chance or my room getting clean O_o
