The poet and the Busker.
The busker providing a musical or entertaining ambience ...
Her words...enterwined into his heart..
Across a ocean ,
carried as if by wave or wind,
To a unknown friend,
His music gave voice to her feelings,
Her song became his.
Perhaps they were always meant to be connected,
Maybe it was fate.
Passing stars that came close enough to sparkle
in the other's light,
Time and distance were of no consquence.
The connection was of the heart and mind.
The music played softly and seem to gently travel
through time and space.
across the starry skies ,
and ocean of blue,
until his music found her heart,
playing softly in the lonely night,
as she danced under the moonlight,
He rose to the sunrise,
He had dreamed that he had touched the rose.
For a brief moment they had found
a way to reach past mere human existence,
to find a connection of hearts and souls.
The poet and the Busker.

I promise to raise taxes on the wealthy who have too much money to spend,
and use that money to feed the hungry.
I promise to have a lot of corn planted, and change our nations dependence on oil,to a fuel based on cooking oil.
I promise to clean up the environment.
I promise to make a dam such as the Dutch have,
before moving people back into New Orleans.
I promise not to sell our ports,
but to acquire foreign ports.
I promise to read all books right side up.
I promise not to have sex in the Oval office,
'although that is really depriving and boring,'
what else does a president do?play miniature golf maybe???
And if I can't keep the promises I make,
I will be re-elected.
promises,promises,promises.... |

Pray for me
Sometime the cross grows to heavy to bare, Pray for me, I need your prayer, Lift me up to heaven, I know God is there, Pray for me, I need your prayer, There are times I can't make it alone, Walking on a road covered with stone, Sometime I need some one to care, Pray for me, I need your prayer, They say that God answers , and He hears, The slightest whispers, fall on His ears, And He'll take His hand and wipe the tears, Lift me up to heaven, I know God is there, Pray for me, I need your prayer.
