| Tuesday, September 23, 6:30PM in the Kawaye household.
The daddy, the mommy and the baby were busy eating. Well, the baby was more like watching the daddy and the mommy eating, since she already ate.
The baby said: "MAMA"
The daddy and the mommy stopped what they were doing and exchanged a "Did I hear...did she just....WHOA" look to each other.
The baby has said her very first word!! And it made the mommy very very happy, OK the daddy was very happy too, even tho it's not "dada". Although the baby hasn't say it again since, it still marked as Noelle's very first word.

| Oh no they didn't!!!! NBC is coming out with new Knight Rider. From the preview, it looks beyond lame. The car looks a lot more high-tech, but the actors seem blah. See for yourselves!

| Ah, I have been away from xanga for too long!! I really should post more, just so I can look back later on and remember the times. Noelle is 5 & 1/2 months old now, I can't believe we're going to have an half year old baby at the end of this month!! Whoa mamas!
Noelle is sleeping thru the night now. She goes to bed around 10 (but actually starts dozing off around 8:30 or 9) and then gets up around 6am. We'll give her some milk and then she'll sleep for another hour or hour & half. The mommy and the daddy are very happy about this! I seriously don't know how we did it a few months ago, when we got very few hours and very interrupted sleep. Noelle loves to sleep on her tummy or sides too, she'll always end up on those positions in the morning. She also likes to curl up in the corner of her crib, it's so adorable when she does that. Noelle sorta start scooting now. She'll put her face down (can't quite use her arms to move forward yet), lift up her butts and pushes forward with her feet. It takes her a while to move from point a to point b, but she does move around. She is also fascinating with her feet lately, she'll stare or hold onto her feet when she's sitting up. She just got over the phase when she'll have her hands touching and feeling each other. She knows when you are being silly with her and will laugh if you make funny faces or noises. For some reasons, she likes to be "scared", very unlike her mommy, lol. She giggles whenever she gets "boo!" from us. Everyone says she's such a happy baby and lots of elderly at our church always ask if Noelle ever cries. Of course she does! And she can be super loud if she wants to. She enjoys making lots of noises and screaming, we think that's her way of "talking".
I finally got a MACbook (and by the way, I LOVE MAC!!!!!!) and so we can finally video chat with my parents. I'm glad they can get to see how Noelle is growing. They really miss her and the next time we see them, Noelle will be close to 1 year old already. Thank God for Skype and MSN messanger!
Last Saturday, we introduced rice cereal to Noelle. She didn't really like it at first but was able to eat about 2 tbsp, which is pretty good. This is day 4 and she is still learning to embrace the idea of solid food, I sure hope she'll like it more and more each time. The baby spoon is so stinking small tho, it takes me forever to finish feeding her a very small bowl. And most of them end up on her face or bib, haha. I guess that's why parenthood is a learning process. We learn as our kids grow and hope we'll be patient at the same time.
Noelle just got an exersaucer and she loves playing in it. I must say tho, baby gears are so expensive and she's not even in school yet. But if it keeps her happy and helps her grow, we'll try to provide her as much as we possibly can.
The Kawaye family are going to their 2nd family Giants game this Saturday, let's hope it'll be much more fun than last time

| Noelle is going to be 4 month old on May 30!!! I can't believe our little girl is growing up to a little lady now. She's outgrowing lots of her cute clothes, it's actually kinda sad to put those clothes away. I'm not done with those clothes tho, am saving them for our next baby, well, if we have another one, and if it's a girl again, lol. She's also starting to wear stage 2 diapers. It seems like just yesterday that we took her home from the hospital. Life does go fast when you have a little one. Noelle can roll over to her left now, she's quiet an expert already. She also likes to smile at people and she'll even "talk" to you if she's in a good mood. Another thing she picked up is separation anxiety. She cries when I'm not within her sight. Not all the time, but more so than before. Yesterday she was sorta crying because I left her on the changing pad on the floor. When she realized I was sitting right next to her (she was turning to the opposite side), she smiles and puts her hand on my leg and didn't move her hand until I stood up. I love it when she does little things like that, kinda like saying "I love you mommy".
Having Noelle makes me realize that unconditional love isn't something that comes to us naturally, it's more like something you learn rather. I remember when Noelle was first born, we had no idea what we were doing but at the same time we had to take care of her. Because we are her parents, and it's not like we can just hand her off to someone else. She is our responsibility, for life. There were days when I was totally exhausted and not sure if I really love her. I mean, sure she's my flesh and bone, but I didn't really feel the bond or the closeness. However, as days go on, the more time I spend with her, the more I fall in love with her. Now I can honestly say that I love our baby girl 100%. Unconditional. I thank God for giving me patient that I needed.
So guess what we are going to do to celebrate Noelle's 4-month "birthday"? We are going to see Giants play!! Craziness I know!! I hope I won't regret bringing a little baby to the ballpark. Please pray for us that we will have a safe and very fun time.
