Hey all.  Ashley here.  I finally figured this thing out.  Just kinda updating on something God put on my heart since we got back.

So I have a new plan that God put on my heart. I'm going to schoolcraft for a year, then peace core then I'm either gonna be a missionary or social worker.

Just talked to Jon.  He says the team is planning on leaving tomorrow around 8am.  This should put them in around 5 pm with stops.  The students will still be calling their parents with a more definite time while on the road.

Wow!  Talked to Jon, Hannah and Ashley today.  I have lots of cool updates.

First a prayer request:  Claire Armbruster has not been feeling well today.  She's had some stomach issues.  Pray for her healing.

Yesterday, some students went to visit a nursing home.  They had a great time playing bingo, cards and painting nails!

Monday's VBS went awesome!  The students got to see 2 kids accept Christ!

Today, the construction crew got the opportunity to meet the person they are building the wheel chair ramp for.  As Hannah said, "it made us a lot more motivated to do the work."  Way to go team!  Also, Hannah is working on the goal of making a purse out of the tops of cereal boxes that she has been collecting all week.

Ashley shared with me that this has been an incredible way to go out of the student ministry as she heads off to college next year.  She's had a great experience.

One team stayed back for 3 hours today to pray.  Jon was also able to take them through a Bible study on Philippians.  This lead them into a discussion about the transition of a new high school pastor.  The students are organizing a prayer time tonight while the first candidate, Dean, is speaking at 707!  It's awesome how the students are taking an active role in making this transition smooth.

Preston got his wish granted yesterday when he was able to go to Prestonburg and get a picture!

Overall, Jon says the team is doing great.  He sees them really growing tremendously, especially in their prayer lives!  Can't wait to see how they've changed when they get back!

Keep praying!

Amber
