| HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
So I got back from Encounter on Sunday and I'm ready to go back! It was so amazing to see what God did to everyone there during that week! One of my favorite parts of the conference was the Outreach we did on Saturday. My group went to Smith Homes in the projects of Greensboro and we took them a box of canned food and shared the gospel with them. It was so encouraging to talk with the people we talked to because they already knew the Lord and it was interesting to see where there hearts were. It was also sad because they have to continuously have a cop driving around to watch for drug deals, stabbings, robberys, rapings, etc. The cop told us that one of those happen within every 4 days. But another part of the conference was my favorite was praying in the new year! You could feel the Holy Spirit in that room, it was *amazing*! It was great getting to spend that week with all my friends from my school. I think we all definately got closer with one another and with the Lord which was most important about the trip.

So I only have like 2 weeks before Thanksgiving break and Allison is
coming home with me and my family is going to the mountains! I'm
sooo excited!

| So I'm really excited right now because in about an hour (6:50) I am
leaving to go to Coyote Joe's with my girls tonight! I haven't
gotten to go in like 3 weeks and I miss it sooooo much!
If I could ask you guys to pray for some things that would be *awesome*:
- A girl in my bible study her dad just had major brain surgery
yesterday and the doctors said it went really well but that he would
have an easy recovery and everything will be ok.
- There is a sweet, sweet girl in all my classes with me this
semester and we had a great talk tonight and she totally opened up to
me about her life. She said that she has totally made a turn
around in her life for the good which is awesome but shes obviously not
a Christian for many reasons. Just pray that I will continue to
have courage to talk to her about the Lord and hopefully have an impact
in her life.
- That my wonderful girls Steph and Maggie will get into Charlotte so they can join me next year! I know they have no problem getting in though.

| So I'm extremely excited right now because I just ordered tickets to go
see Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, and Sugarland in concert with my brother
and Stephanie!!! It is going to be sooooooo fun!! 
Today has just been a great day for some reason. I am stressed
out though because I have to do a research paper before next Thursday
and I haven't started writing the paper yet. I am getting REALLY
bad at procrastinating. But...
IT IS SOOOO COLD OUTSIDE! I think we went straight from summer to
winter! It's cRaZy! And we are going to play ultimate
frisbee in this!?!?  But it is goi ng to be so much fun as always!
I hope everyone has an *awesome* week and if anyone has any ideas of
something I could be for Halloween let me know! I need some
ideas! Thanks

| This week was a short one and I loved it! It was good to go home
for Fall Break and spend time with my family. I miss them a
lot! On Tuesday night me, Chris, Andrew, Allison, and Cindy went
to Coyote Joes and saw Chris Cagle, Miranda Lambert, Jeff Bates, and
Cowboy Crush in concert and it was great! Everyone needs to say a
prayer for Chris Cagle cause he just found out that his girlfriend's
baby is not his and he is having a really
hard time with it. Ya'll should have heard the song he wrote
after it happened. He started crying on stage and everyone could
just feel how upset he was about it. Everyone needs to buy his
new cd too! It's amazing!!!
So this weekend was great! Steph came and spent the WHOLE weekend with me and on Friday and Saturday we went shopping!!!
She got to meet all of my friends here and I think she had a lot of
fun. She didn't really want to leave today and I don't really
blame her. Well I haven't gotten to much sleep this weekend so I
need to catch up on that cause it's going to be a long week!! Hope everyone is doing well and hope everyone has a *great* week.
