| "Let me live, Oh Mighty Master, Such a life as men should know; Testing triumph and disaster-- Joy--but not too much of woe. Let me run the gamut over, Let me fight and love and laugh, And when I'm beneath the clover, Let this be my epitaph:
Here lies one who took his chances, In this busy world of men; Battled luck and circumstances; Fought and fell, and fought again; Won sometimes, but did no crowing; Lost sometimes, but did not wail; Took his beating but kept going; And never let his courage fail."

| New Song: Aqualung- Falling Out Of LoveI return from what seems like the dead. Have you guys ever had one of those weeks where nothing seems to run correctly? It's supposed to be one of those times where you're supposed to appreciate the good things you do have in your life, right? Yeah, I suppose I'm trying to focus on that right now. I know this, at least: I need nothing that I don't have.
P.S. Gentle reminder for some: Be careful of how you treat the people in your life. You never know what kind of hell life is giving them.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Popo: Hey, kid, what's going on with you? Why'd you leave town so early? We were supposed to do another run around the yard this afternoon, and you up and left. Man. Who's going to watch my back and bark like a madman when mom and dad were home--you know, to tell me to wake up before they catch me sleeping while I'm supposed to be working? I remember when we first met. You were so tiny....and so smelly, too. I remember at nights when you'd curl up right next to me on my bed, and the one time you walked right off the edge of my bed, too.You were always messing my cars up. You threw up all over my clean car...right after I had cleaned it. Then you threw up all over my NEW car, but even then, I couldn't hate you. I never did. Even in the early mornings when I got dragged out to walk you, I still loved the buttons off you. Thanks for being a role model for Hobbes. He's got big shoes to fill now. Scaring off mailmen and Mexicans coming to the door. Who's gonna lick DT's toes whenever she comes home...or chase Ong around until he throws his arms up in frustration c'oz "I've got no food! What are you doing?" I'll miss seeing you sneeze for persimmons and laying there like a great old polar bear in that bed of yours...especially with that way you glare at me everytime I'm about to give you your medication. I know that no matter what's going on, though, you're watching over the house. You were my pal, and the perfect partner in crime. Irreplaceable in every way. I'll miss you. Bye, friend. M.A.
