| What Faith Can Do - Kutless
Everybody falls sometimes Gotta find the strength to rise From the ashes and make a new beginning Anyone can feel the ache You think it’s more than you can take But you are stronger than you know Don’t you give up now The sun will soon be shining You gotta face the clouds To find the silver lining It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard Impossible is not a word It’s just a reason for someone not to try Everybody’s scared to death When they decide to take that step Out on the water It’ll be alright Life is so much more Than what your eyes are seeing You will find your way If you keep believing I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains Hope that doesn’t ever end Even when the sky is falling And I’ve seen miracles just happen Silent prayers get answered Broken hearts become brand new That’s what faith can do Overcome the odds You don't have a chance (That’s what faith can do) When the world says you can’t It’ll tell you that you can! I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains Hope that doesn’t ever end Even when the sky is falling And I’ve seen miracles just happen Silent prayers get answered Broken hearts become brand new That’s what faith can do Even if you fall sometimes You will have the strength to rise |

| I can somehow pull off a 12 hour "work" day at camp. But spending that much time at work is kinda depressing...productive...but still depressing.

| I'm nerdy. I had that sudden realization as we (the students and I) were going over the exam and I could name off atomic numbers and mass weights without looking at the periodic table.
taken out of context, but still really funny... me (to the students): Do you think I'm crazy? ::pause:: me (shakes head): Wait. Don't answer that. cue student laughter.
Today was a better day.

| How often are we blinded by our own worries that we don't see the hurt we're causing?
Today is a new day...starting now. Can you feel it?
prayers for you.
Thanks friend.

| I spent today baking. Pumpkin cookies were on the menu. I couldn't decide if I should do chocolate chip or raisins, so I split the batch. Actually, I tried a chocolate chip one and decided I really liked it. Thirty-six chocolate chip ones to the twelve raisin ones. It should have yielded 60, but I made the cookies too big. oopsie.
Baking is therapeutic. The current plan is to make another batch at my cousin's for Thanksgiving. good plan.
"A shapeless piece of steel, that's all I claim to be This hammer pounds to give me form, this flame, it melts my dreams I glow with fire and fury, as I'm twisted like a vine My final shape, my final form I'm sure I'm bound to find..." Hammer Holds - Bebo Norman
Melting dreams...I didn't really know that second line until now.
