Anyway you get the point.
Let me tell you why www.tblog.com is good -
1) Can custom your own blog template which Xanga doesn't allow unless you're a premium (read: paid) user.
2) It's much easier to add tblog tags to your template than blogger.
3) There are no banners adverts. I am not kidding. Don't believe go and see.
But as with all things good.. There may be a chance that tblog is
fucked up in some way that I've yet to discover. If that's the case,
then I'll move back here haha..
Meanwhile, seeya at www.tblog.com
edited.. I HATE TBLOG!! | | |
| On the bus ride home from Bugis today (yea, Bugis again), I underwent
35 minutes of pure trauma and puzzlement..
By the NUSS gradute society
publicity campaign.
Has anyone seen any of those moronic things on the bus
ads?!?
I'm sure there's definitely nothing wrong with me - so it must be them.
It seems NUSS doesn't find anything strange about scantily clad men and women glamorously donning trunks and swimsuit, WEARING THEIR MORTAR BOARDS.
In fact, I suspect they think that the visual image of the
above described inappropriately dressed people FROLICKING ABOUT IN A
POOL is really going to entice people to want to be part of NUSS.
Well done.I'm trying to find a pic for the benefit of those who have yet to witness the horror.
But it's nowhere to be found, even on the NUSS website.
And frens, you all have to go to BK sometime soon..
They've got Whooper + Cheese Sticks + Drink deals..
For $4.90!!
DID YOU KNOW that the thumbs-up sign is a phallic symbol for the male virility?!?!?!
And that the "peace" / "kawaii neh!" sign is a signal for "I'm horny!"..
And did you know that the lady working at Cards and Such @Centrepoint is a fucking rude freak.
For a cheap thrill, call her at 6734-9657.
And ask her for the management office number.
She will tell you with all the mean-ness she can muster "Tsk, can you go and find out yourself?!"
And then proceed to slam the phone at you.
(If there's one thing I HATE MOST, it's people slamming phones/doors at me!) Next, call any other branch (I called the Tampines one at 6787-7939).
Ask them the same question.
They will tell you to call the main branch (@Raffles City) at 6338-9084.
Do as they say, and complain about that ccb at Centrepoint.
Like I did.
The single most exciting thing that happened today..
I BOUGHT 2 NEW VCDS!!
From the jiang1 shi1 dao4 zhang3 series!!
One of them titles, I've been searching everywhere for the longest time.
And now it's finally mine!! I am the king of the world.
The guy at the vcd shop must have thought I'm some gila babi, holding a VCD, hopping up and down excitedly.

| It's a money making scam.
And I'm talking about the fact that Jerry Ong remains in the running for Singapore Idol. Hmmm... Lemme rephrase that : The fact that Jerry Ong has been retained in the Idol contest..
Paraphrase necessary because:
- That untalented **** (I can't think of anything quite aptly
obscene enough) wasn't, isn't and never will be in the running.
Obviously.
- After being publicly insulted by all four judges at one go (what can be worse than "you're
still here ah?!"), I don't think he'd willingly want to remain in the
competition. The sheer thought of clinging on by my last loose tooth
every week yet having to paiseh-ly return the next would be enough to
traumatise me into withdrawing.
Since the stats for the voting are undisclosed,
we'd never know if he really even had any votes at all (less from
himself) for the past two weeks.
By keeping Jerry Ong in the
show, the producers are demonstrating how "every vote (REALLY) counts".
As long as he doesn't actually win the competition, there wouldn't be a
public riot. It doesn't even matter if he made it to the final two.
With the exception of Jerry (and maybe Christopher), the remaining
contestants are all really not too bad. Once he gets out, there will be
no more motivation for voting, coz all the rest at the least talented
enough to be the Sg Idol.
So the longer they keep him on the
show, the producers have nothing to lose, but everything to gain.
Because the avid (read: super rich yet also very poorthing) sms-ers and
callers will just have to keep sms-ing and calling in case their
favourite idol who is truly deserving gets ousted due to sheer chance.
If
the relevant people happen to be reading this, please correct me if I'm
wrong. In which case, I must say I am supremely baffled by how Jerry
has managed it. Last week, granted that Beverly clearly didn't have
public support though she really sounds good, and that Jessea is
disadvantaged for being foreigner (the most credible reason to me)..
But this time - HOW?!?!?!
Is it because of his "thank God" statement?? But I am a christian also,
how come I don't feel the abslute compulsion to vote for him. Is
there something wrong with me. And I'm pretty sure there are other
christian contestants also what (like David Yeo, according to 8 days -
Why no one vote for him and caused him to be kicked out?!?!?) Maybe all
the christians left should all follow suit and
thank God in their next press release - then they will all know they
are safe. Bullshit. I give Singaporeans christians credit for
being more intelligent than that. Even if they are not, the rational
non-christians should be able to outvote them by sheer number..
I hate going on and on... But I just can't contain my puzzlement.
This is the only Idol competition that I've actually followed right
from the start. Is it trying to punish me for not watching other
seasons of Idol by being so screwed up?
To Jerry: Out, you dam mouse!!

| Hey frens contact lens
Today fish fillet Went Bugis take maths quiz Ate Bak Kut Teh marina bay At the market i'm late
hockay national day, enough giraffe, of rhyme stupid slime.
Back to the Bak Kut Teh. Frankly, it wasn't superbly yummy. "Too much pepper, not enough herbs, a bit too watery.. But the meat is not bad!" (quoting Mr Poon) And I agree that the meat is good stuff..
Plus it's cheap too: plate of peanuts + xian2 cai4 + pot of bakkutteh soup with meat for 2+ 2 bowls of rice.. All for $6.60
Between the food quality and the price, quite a good deal. There's 60 cents soya bean nearby too - that's about the cheapest I've found so far, second only to Bedok Blk 85 market.
