Test 1

This morning, I played with the acrylic paint left over from making the Stanford Juggling poster. The paint covered the canvass really well. Because I am tool-deficient, I had to improvise. See my low budget tools.

I had fun painting in black and red. This was definitely a lot less work than pastel.

This is the beginning of a recovery proces. We will see how far I get.

"go to hell" v.0.2

"go to hell" just got a little bit better... only a little.

"go to hell" went to hell

The title says it all.  I am displeased with the colored version. I started with a base layer of color.

But filling out the whole sheet really tired out my hand.  Subsequently, I added some details.

This was a bit better, but still not ideal.  But then, I'm so bored with this particular drawing already that I might never finish.

"go to hell"

I was told to "go to hell."    Being so told made me sad, but it also spurred me to draw.  After finishing the sketch, I was thinking that putting the drawing to color might be interesting.  Since I'm not so good with wet media, maybe pastel?

I think turning my old black and white drawings into color paintings would make a good project this year.
