my ears almost exploded last sunday
they were wrapping up the 1812 overture and
the guns went off by the bay on my left

this was around the time I noticed I wasn't matching anyone else...
...but randomly I had a black shirt in my car!
I had planned on maybe wearing it to ninja movie night @ brian's.
(my options were business ninja, emo ninja, and graduation ninja.
thankfully, jimmy had real ninja gear and I didn't need to resort to
any of those.)
at that ninja movie night we watched 3 Ninjas and TMNTIII.
I had wished we watched Ninja Turtles 2, Secret of the Ooze,
because it has Vanilla Ice and the Ninja Rap. but such is life
well, there are some highlights from a week ago. (:

my brother let me watch an episode last week, and I must say, it's quite amazing.
great lessons, guest appearances (everyone from biz markie to elijah wood)...
and the sickest beats I ever heard on any kid's show!
after muno accidentally knocked over the tower of colored blocks,
the gang busted out with the refrain "I'm so sorry" over a sleekly-produced track of syncopated rhythms and sparkly sounds.
yo gabba gabba! makes apologizing fun!
