5 months and 22 days later...

- I will get my driver's liscense, try.

- Be 17

- Dunno where I'll be.

No urge to start writing, but much thoughts lay inside my head. Nah, wont let it hatch. Not a chance.

The house will be left soon. Hope they will take good care of it.

And, nonetheless, may I, and U be happy.

:)

of cake and candles...

...there were none.

nevertheless, why the urge to suddenly write again?

being officially sixteen means i can finally watch da vinci code, legally. and be a year older than yesterday.

in the span of these 4+ months that i never touched xanga, i have read numerous others, and feel with the writers. grown with them.

then there are those i cant, and never, understand.

and there are those i will always choose over others, of whom i will always place close to heart.

anyway heres to me, happy birthday girl.

MR LEE (the new conductor of strings ensemble)

while all scrub away at their string instrument, i sat at the corner, doing my administrative duties. or so to say. (there was only 3 tasks, and i finished in 15 minutes, so i sat there for a whole 2 hours)

no more miss tan conducting, a new mr lee came. and he's as short as the other mr lee and rather gay.
for entertainment (in that corner for 2 hours), there's hitler, there's terribly played movements, then there's mr lee's mini speeches.

- reminiscencing about his past/future at the singapore youth symphony, tanjong katong girls, braddel heights
- mozart's pieces are the most difficult (and there are 42 symphonies) because you need to get the notes right, the movement right, and the style right
- the ensemble had been doing the flexible mozart movement for the past 6 months, and still havent master it
- ohmy, his gf called in the middle of the session and he said into the phone in chinese 'its (whatever it is) in the dryer'
- to the ensemble 'play "hen ping jing, bu yao sheng qi" (quietly, dont be angry)', and to each other 'like answering questions'
- second violins (which i used to belong to!) are the most important
- he says 'hard' as 'hot'
- that soloists (musicians/singers/actresses etc) go crazy easily

therefore, join an orchestra and be a normal person.

on another note, my mother finally got me a new sim card, so my razor is up and going again! callmesmsmecontactmewhateverelsemela

Just thought I should show off what a wonderful mother I have. We were watching this show with 5566's Zax Wang (whom we often refer to as 'monkey'). Anyway his hair was all spiked up and everything. Then my mother said "Why dont you go and cut until like him? Then I can help you gel. Then can stand up." (In chinese nonetheless.)

Now, if I really listen to her, then I probably get scolded by teachers.

So I said "Can, then if the teacher ever calls you, must say YOU say I should cut one ah..."

"OK la."

Been busy downloading albums of music, catching up with friends, trying to not get sidetracked when studying (but always end up being so), and the little things that keep popping up that needed my attention.

Now some interesting facts:

- JAMIE OLIVER has the same birthday, which is a HUGE CONSOLATION. : )

- Famous Hakka people (me being one) are Deng Xiaopeng, Thaksin (That PM), Lee Deng Hui (former president of China), Lee Kuan Yew, Sun Yat Sen, the 3 Soong Sisters (two of the who married Chiang Kai Shek and Sun Yat Sen), Jimmy Choo (THE designer shoe-maker from MALAYSIA), Leon Lai, Chow Yun Fat and more.

- Hakka women (or girls) never bound their feet and were known for their HIGH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT.

- Fortune cookies are not authentic chinese food.

- Tiger beer sorbet are available at Island Creamery (Serene Centre) at 11 bucks a tub (500ml). And there's also a Awfully Chocolate less than 5 mins away.

Thanks to w i k i p e d i a   I LOVE!
