For the few tennis fans, it has been fun to see Agassi giving it one last shot. I like this description a columnist gave when talking about agassi's second round US open match against Baghdatis.

"I didn't cry when they buried my father -- I wouldn't let myself. I didn't cry when they buried my sister. On Thursday night, with my family asleep upstairs, my eyes filled as Agassi and Marcos Baghdatis played out the fifth set of their moving second-round match. "

It is so great to see the crowd completely pulling for him. It's like they are playing with him on the court. Let's hope Agassi makes it to at least the 4th round.

Article about flight 93 that went down in Pennsylvania.

"The government closed its case with testimony from three more witnesses, including Florida Police Officer Lorne Lyles, whose wife, C.C. Lyles, was a flight attendant on Flight 93.

Lyles said he had worked an overnight shift and slept through a phone call from his wife that was recovered from the message machine later.

On the tape, C.C. Lyles says, "I need you to take care of the kids. I love you, I love you, babe. I hope to see your smiling face again. I love you, goodbye."

I just saw one the craziest basketball games ever with UCLA beating Gonzaga yesterday. Oh my god! It was absolutely insane. i don't think i've acted that insane in a public place ever, what an absolutely fantastic moment.

That game coming after a ridiculously crazy W.Va, Texas finale made last night amazing. Wouldn't that be awesome if UCLA went to the final 4. I hope we pull off another great win tomorrow.

Here's now a Newspaper article discusses UCLA's Victory

"And for their next trick, Ben Howland will fly, Aaron Afflalo will saw Adam Morrison in two and Jordan Farmar will pull a rabbit and an Elite Eight invite out of his trunks.

Understand this, it was completely ridiculous. So jaw-dropping it was just stupid. The kind of thing that Hollywood would be embarrassed to try and pull off. But the UCLA Bruins did."

Pulled off a comeback that defied belief, not to mention all basketball logic. This just doesn't happen. It just isn't allowed. Logic has to play some part."

In the new Albert Brooks Comedy "Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World" the movie takes place in India and Pakistan.

Granted that India has the second largest muslim population in the world next to Indonesia, I still would not generally associate that country as part of the "Muslim World."

Its amusing to me to hear movie reviewers write stuff like:

"Almost no one in India laughs at Brooks's jokes, which is a positive sign that there is sanity, if not comedy, in the Muslim world. "

I wonder why they choose India and not other more traditionally associated countries associated with a large percentage muslim population if the movie was titled "Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World."

"You go to, like, the worst place in the world and things are terrible," Farris told The Associated Press. "When you go back home you have such a new appreciation for all the blessings you have there, and I'm just going to be, like, ecstatic for life."

This coming from an American Teenager who went to visit Baghdad on his own without telling his parents, and lived to tell about it. An amazing story worth reading
