and so it begins.

Wednesday, June 14, 2006

I was sitting here on the computer, stalking people on facebook, and thought to myself "what a perfect time to update this freaking xanga". And thus, solely for your entertainment, I am wasting my time and ruining my vision.

Where to begin. Summer. oh yes. The word that is supposed to mean "you are finally done with school, so you should go to the library, get all hte books you want to read, and just sit in that chair all day long reading. The alternative is watching t.v.". However, this summer has become " i'm so tired". Oh the life of...me.

However lets describe the FUN! On my first day of vacation (wednesday...i can't believe it was only 1 week ago, feels like an eternity) me and my mom went shopping in North Hills. North Hills is basically Southpoint part II. It is gorgeous to walk around in, and it was really nice weather that day (and yes, kendall, the sky was beautiful. I checked.) So basically every single store was too expensive (a.k.a they were all boutiques with like $300 skirts) so we went to JC Penny. They were apparently having this massive sale and so I got some summer shirts (holla). The sad news is that I haven't worn a single one yet. I have time.

So then on Thursday I had class, and I bought some things for the party, and then I went to the 3 HOUR graduation rehearsal. That was...not fun. So anyways, after that me nad mom went to see Fanaa, which was okay i guess. It was better then I expected, but I went with low expectations (I mean, Kajol was blind, how good could it be?). However there was a twist (which was a little weird) and I guess it made the movie interesting to some degree. Oh, and all the songs (okay, most of thme) had some connection to the story, and weren't randomly put in just so that they could travel to different countries for a 2 minute scene. That's an improvement.

Friday was the PARRRRTAYYYYY, holla I don't even know how to explain. It was just...awesome. There was no end to the fantasticity of that party. I loved acting like a kid again (yes, i do it a lot, but with water is just oh so much more fun). The bubbles, games, water balloons (or lack thereof), food, music...just great. I really liked that in the end there were less people so we could just sit and talk for awhile...and by awhile I mean 1 1/2 hrs, haha. They only left because my mom practically kicked them out of the house (that graduation party was so not worth it). Anyways, after that with my aching body and headache infected head I went to a graduation party, blah blah, whtaever. it was totally inconsequential in comparison to the party.

Saturday my aunt came from England and other aunt from Windsor (that's in Canada idiots). Then summer camp started in Monday and that is why I don't have the energy to do anything else today other then type. Today was a very...umm...interesting day at camp. And by interesting I mean utterly chaotic. I don't feel like typing it all out right now though, maybe some other time.

Oh, and Sunday was graduation. Toodles seniors, I'll miss some of you, but not all. Especially a certain someone that was really really really bugging me by the end of the year. But yeah, i'll miss most of you.

p.s- i'm glad there's a big F on megha's face...hahahaha

4 DAYS UNTIL THIS FREAKING YEAR IS OVER. Thank God.

On a happier note, It is monday and I am not in school. Can I get a woot woot? yeah.

I'm excited about this weekend And next weekend for that matter I wish they had an icon for "sly" because that was what I would put there instead. Actually, i'm not being sly at all and word shall get out but guess what? I don't care!!!! I seriously don't even care. It is an absolutely wonderful feeling.

So about how I really have nothing to say on xanga anymore. Maybe my life won't be so boring after exams. One can always hope.

mm, I had the "college talk" with my parentals today. Oh the joy. Basically they compared me to my sister even more, pointed out all my failures, and asked if i ever got stressed about this stuff. HA.they think i don't because unlike my sister I don't flip out and start stressing like mad in front of them. Instead I start to stress a lot in school and then calm down or don't talk to them when I get home. Apparently my sisters way is better.

Moving on. This weekend I had like no homework and didn't know what to do with myself. I couldn't ask my parents to do anything fun because then thye would find some work for me to do. So I just pretended to have homework and basically sat in my room and re-read a Golden Compass.

What a worthless update.

Entry time! holla! Yeah, i really say that way too much for it to be okay, i should stop. Reason for updating? bored out of my mind. And by bored I don't mean I have nothing to do, by bored I mean if i start doing something fun my mom will tell me to study. thus, i found a solution to my dilemma and its name is xanga. This entry may be ridiculously long due to the fact that I have nothing else to do .

I have decided my least favorite thing ever is the time when i'm laying in bed, trying to sleep, but I can't get to sleep. This has been happening a lot during APs because everyone says "sleep on time!" but i'm not used to sleeping on time and so i just lie there, staring at dust on the fan that looks like it wants to come eat me. At this time every single thought from the day comes rushing through my head again, making it even harder to sleep. I think about all the things I have not accomplished (which far outweigh the things I have accomplished) and then feel like crap until I finally fall asleep.

So Wednesday was actually fun, after the Calc exam. Kaitlin and me had an adventure  So first we were trying to figure out where to go to lunch and who with but when we got downstairs there was like a mob of sophmores waiting for the apwh exam. So we went outside and lost everyone we were going with. So then we saw Debbie and she invited us to go with her to Rocola for lunch. We were debating for awhile and then decided we might as well go. So it took forever to get out of the parking deck seeing as there were a billion cars tryign to get out. When we finally did get out we took this really long route to avent ferry and finally got to rocola. What do we find? apparently the wait for a seat was like 20 min. so debbie and all were deciding where to go and kaitlin and me decided to ditch them and go to NYP. So we get back into Kaitlin's vehicle and drive on over to NYP. Parking in itself was an adventure. we went to the parking lot behind the retaurant and its excessively tiny (just to make us mad) and we didn't want to park in the "baskin robbins spots" or whatever b/c kaitlin's friend had just gotten towed for doing that. However this car next to the trash can (which was not actually a parking spot) left so we decided to park there. As soon as we get out of the car (actually, kaitlin had gotten out but I was still sitting inside because kaitlin forgot she had to open the door for me b/c the doorhandle was broken) when this HUGEEEE car (and by car I mean some type of SUV but like 50 times bigger) comes up behind us and the guy asks Kaitlin if she can park her car in the baskin robbins place. Kaitlin says that we're not going for ice-cream but the guy who was creating global warming persisted. His stupid car wouldn't fit anywhere else. So Kaitlin moves and we're just sitting in the car because we don't want her car to get towed and luckily some other guy in a NYP space moved. Therefore, 45 minutes after the end of the calc exam, we got into NYP and ate pizza. At least the pizza was satisfactory. Oh ho ho, but that is not the end of the adventure, as you may think.  Then Kaitlin had to drop me in front of DH Hill so that my mom could pick me up. Why in the world does ncsu have seperate lanes for buses? So we pass DH Hill and then have to turn around. We figured we could get into the lane that is there but apparently that is only for buses. We find that out after kaitlin has turned and then they close a little gate thing behind the bus. So we wait for the car that had also turned in behind us to move out of the way and in the mean time some creepy old guy is saying stuff to us as he walks across the street. It is still a mystery as to why 1) he was talking to us 2) what he was saying. Anyways, we finally got to DH Hill and THAT, my friends, was the end of the adventure. Oh, and to get out I just climbed into the back of the car which took some major coordination, so that kaitlin didn't have to get out while we were blocking the lane.

Yay for storytime.
