Gave blood at a blood drive yesterday and got a bad headache, so I didn't start my actual in-car driving lessons, but today I'll probably go the Dell Diamond (baseball field) parking lot with Mom and my pretty car and start my lessons.

I've exchanged a few emails with Mr. Olesen, finally.  He said he's doing quite well, which is a big load off my mind.  He's also offering to come to my house and give me special coaching on my all-state music this year, which is awesome.  The only thing is that he told me not to tell Mr. Norris or anyone else, because Norris needs to feel like he's in control of the classroom and that Mr. O won't be interferring.  So, that only amplified my feelings of being "caught in the middle", so to speak.

I like both of them so much (Mr. O, of course, getting first place)... and I would hate for Norris to find out about my voice lessons and get mad at Mr. O.  That's the last thing I want.  And then Norris would probably get mad at me, too.  Norris is scary when he's mad.

Anyway, I'm going to read up on my first in-car driving lesson!  I'll catch y'all on the flip side!

(BTW - Saiyuki is a wonderful anime.  Everyone should watch it.  I heart Sanzo!)

Ugh... now they're making me choose?!  This is just dandy.

Backstory: Since Mr. Olesen resigned as choir director, Mr. Norris (who was the choir assistant last year) is now teaching the entire choir this upcoming school year.

However, Mr. Norris doesn't seem to think highly of Mr. Olesen, and all of the other officers have been dissing him... "Mr. O did such-and-such and it really sucked.  He was so terrible."  So now, I feel that I can't be completely loyal to Norris unless I talk poorly of Olesen.

Anyway, I'm going to see Freaking Friday with my mom.  More on this devlopment as it occurs.  I'll catch y'all on the flip side.

Back from Hawaii!  I actually got back Wednesday afternoon, but... you people know I'm lazy.  ^_^  I'll write about Hawaii later - it's too late at night for me to write too much.

I have a new favorite original character of mine!  It used to be Quimby McKay, but now it's Pochek.  I created him during 8th grade for a really lame fantasy story I was working on during my woodshop class when I should've been making wooden deer or whatever we did during that period.  I've significantly changed him for my new story. 

Anyway, he was born an elf (although they're not really elves in my story), but now he's a demon because the Lord of Mirrors (working name) cursed him with a third eye.  So now, Pochek desperately tries to discover the countercurse to make the eye open and return himself to non-demon...ness.  The eye has also made him completely insane.  It's so sad what happens to him...

**SPOILER** (Like this will ever be a real novel, anyway, hehehe!)  All right, so, Adelle is fighting Pochek because he's standing in her way - she's trying to get to the main guy character (who is nameless as of now) to free him, as he's about to sacrificed to the gods.  Adelle and Pochek fight, and eventually (and quite on accident), she lands the sword clear through his stomach.  As he's lying there on the ground, bleeding to death, his third eye begins to open.  The shadows come away from his eyes.  He is no longer a demon.  He looks up at Adelle, smiles, says "Thank you", and then promptly dies.

Of course, it will be more dramatic in the actual writing of the scene.  -_-  I'm just really tired, but I wanted to post this before I go to bed.
