I'm ready for it (come on bring it!)

Only after seeing this summer's most thrilling blockbuster did I realize just how few things are completely snake-proof. Opening any doors, containers, and compartments will, for the next week or so, be an agonizing and frightening chore, let alone using the toilet. The movie was a lot like those trick peanut cans with a spring loaded snake inside. Only instead of a playful surprise, the opener receives over a pint of deadly snake venom delivered via the seven inch long fangs of an Egyptian cobra.

The last few weeks have been average, which is why I haven't updated since schedule day. School is going well and my teachers are incredibly fun. I'm having trouble acting like the seniors of the '06 generation; the reality of graduation just seems so distant. I'm sure that Senioritis will eventually coarse its way though my veins, probably just in time for the AP Calc and English exams. Perfect.

I came across this site a few days ago. It allows you to display any used books in your possession in an online inventory and basically trade them straight across for someone else’s'. The intricacies of the "point" system are explained on the site. It's a great way to procure old or out of print books. I'm mentioning the site because it is just starting out and I would like to see the community grow. Give it a try if you have some free time.

Well, I'm off to check under my pillow for vipers and try to get some sleep.

Oh Seven!

Semester 1:
1. Calculus A - Tarter
2. AP English Lit/Comp - Boggs (Alternates daily with US Government - Edwards)
3. Life Individual Fitness - Gaines
4. Culinary/Hospitality I - Bone

Semester 2:
1. Physics - Raper
2. AP English Lit/Comp - Boggs (Alternates daily with Economics - Edwards)
3. Culinary/Hospitality II - Bevis
4. AP Calculus B - Tarter

Home Room:  B. Adams
Locker Number: 1515

It was fun seeing everyone today at registration. They seemed to make the two hour wait slightly bearable. Apparently someone passed out at the front of the line...it was a little hot. I'm not yet sure if the alternating class system is going to benefit me, but I know that there will be others in the same, confusing boat with me.

I suppose I'll spend the remainder of my uneventful summer hanging out with friends. For those of you who fit that description, give me a call. Oh, and drop a comment if you have any of my classes. Go Seniors!

The first half of summer always seems to fly by.

For the past few weeks I've been traveling back and forth from my North Carolina beach house; I'll be embarking on a trip in the latter direction tomorrow morning. Forced upon me against my will, this retreat will consume all but two weeks of the remaining break. I hope to complete all of my summer assignments during my stay so I will have oodles of time to spend with you guys when I return.

I hope all of you are having/are going to have a great summer.
Please Call

*MP3 Player Script I threw together with ActionScript. It's very sloppy, I know. Enjoy it if you can, for it may not work correctly on anything but IE.
