eY!

Today is Monday which meant back to work!  Mondays are always just so great, not! Not too much excitement today. I did more typing today at work, same ol' same ol'.  After work I went to the Y to work out.  I did a Hills program on the bike for half an hour, 10 minutes on the Stairmaster, and then 3 x 12 reps of 70, 75, & 80 twice on the Inner Thigh Abductor.  I also went grocery shopping today about a hour after coming back from the Y.  I can't believe how expensive some food is!! LOL, I just can't wait until I'm on my own and have to deal with food shopping.  Meal plan for 1 more year!  Well I'm off to wait for Kirk & Mariss to pick me up, then it's up the road to L. Clif's for a lil bit.

eY!

Havn't updated on here in a while.  Well a hot day calls for a trip to the beach!  The fam and I went to Cape Henlopen today.  I don't really go to the Delaware beaches very much.  After today, I think I know why we stay away!!  LOL!  It was SOOOOOOOOO crowded and the beach was like non-existent! The sand was kinda eh; it had all these sticks in it! My mom said that it was like the Jersey Shore, people blanket to blanket.  It made me appreciate Sunset Beach so much more, even though I already LOVE that place!!!  There is so much beach; sometimes it's a long walk to the ocean from the shore. North Carolina is just wonderful for beach going!  I can't wait until I go back to school and can take trips to the beach!!!  I got sunburn on the top of my thighs and came home with a headache.  It wasn't such a bad trip, minus all the people; I got to sit in the sun & listen to the ocean.  I even saw some Porpoises swimming by.

Last night I was supposed to go bowling with Dom but the Fam & I didn't leave Don Pablos until 8pm, so we decided to stay in.  She has been house/dog sitting this past weekend.  I went over and I met her friend, Jess, from UD and also fellow nursing student.  I brought over Fat Albert, which I rented friday.  It was a really funny movie and I didn't know that the show was based on real people.  After the movie we went to Brewsters up the road for ice cream before it closed @ 11.  When we got back we played some games that Jess had brought over.  We played Clue, which took me back because I havn't played that in FOREVER!  We played 2 games and I won the 2nd!  I lost the first game because I guessed the wrong weapon!  Let's just say Dom is hardcore when she's playing games.  LOL, she accuses everyone that they are cheating if they're doing good!  After that we played this card game called Milles Bornes.  It was in french!  There are point cards and other cards like flat tire, accident, repairs, etc...it's too hard to explain unless you're there playing.  It wasn't too hard to pick up on.  We played 2 games of that to and I won both.  We decided to call it a night since it was past 1 in the morning and we were all tired.  Well I'm off...

eY!

Today was alright.  Work consisted of more typing and photography.  I took pictures of the little kiddies today.  One of the first grade classes had an author come to the class and talk about her book.  I'm not quite sure because I walked in with 5 minutes left.  She was talking about horses.   She then took the class outside to show them her pony, Butterscotch.  I took pictures of them petting the pony.  On the way back the pony pooped and all the kids started to hold their noses and say ewww!

I went to the Y to work out a lil after work.  I was planning on doing the elliptical and then lifting arms but it was sooooo crowded when I got there.  More people than normally.  I just did 30 minutes on the elliptical and left.  I'm gonna try to go right after work tomorrow and see if I can beat the crowd

I just got home about 5 minutes ago from Lowes with my mom.  We had to buy a new fridge because our old one is busted.  Considering it's 17 1/2 yrs old I'm sure it was time to get a new one!

Well I'm off to watch the season finales of Las Vegas and The Median.  Cyaz for now...

eY!

Well I didn't do much of anything today, which is the same for every Sunday.  It's my chill day!  I did go to Borders and bought some books though, four of them!  I bought Angels and Demons, Beach Music, If I Die in a Combat Zone, and The Alphabet Sisters.  The first three books I found while browsing around on Amazon.  When I got home I started reading If I Die in a Combat Zone by Tim O'Brien.  I first read his book, The Things They Carried, for US History in 11th grade.  It was a great book and I reccommend it to anyone.  I'm not much for books about war but that was just so good I decided to try another one of his.   This book is about Tim's personal experience in Vietnam.  Angels and Demons is by the same author of The Da Vinci Code.  I asked a lady who worked there if The Da Vinci Code was in paperback.  She said it wouldn't be until another 6 months to a year before it came out in paperback or probably when the movie came out.

When I came home my mom said she bought 2 tickets to go see Mamma Mia on Broadway in July.  We're taking the train into NYC. She asked my Aunt, who lives in NY, if she wanted to see it but she already had and didn't want to see it again.

Well I'm off to watch the 2 hour season finale of Extreme Home Makeover and then Family Guy at 9.  It's back to work tomorrow morning!  Cyaz for now...
