| This morning, I wrote the Graduate Record Exam, which could potentially lead to an extended stay in the United States of Whatever.
I feel..... relieved in the panoptic post-pre-modern sense.

| Yes, I don't write much anymore. This isn't because I don't enjoy typing thoughts out, I've just been busy, man.
Tidbits: - My friend Arun is spending the next 5 months in Warsaw, not to be confused with Krakow. Read about his experiences here.
- I'm at a physics conference in Fredericton right now. Physics majors are a linear superposition of: 1. Nerds 2. Geeks 3. Cool (In that keener sort of way) 4. Arrogant 5. Friendly and a whole bunch of higher order term I'm not including.
- Lorri-Anne (or Havana-Anne, as she is known to go by) lives in Waterloo now. Going from a long distance relationship to a see-you-everyday relationship is big, different, but oh so delicious.
- I met the internet couple demon_dazee and Locke _and_Demosthenes a few weeks ago IRL. It was fun, it was surreal.
- I'm making a larger effort to live with the Spirit. To long have a been a man of the Christian persuasion, rather than a Christian.
That's my gambit.

| I just read that they found Robert's body in a river.
Even though I didn't know him, or really knew about him until couple of days ago, I feel pretty bad about it. He sounds like the kind of guy I'd look at with a mix of awe and jealousy, one of those prodigy types. I mean, he could have been the next Witten. Life can totally suck sometimes. **** To add to the list of things that suck, I 've just spent the last 6 hours at work writing/calculating something that I really didn't need to, and only realised this 20 mins ago.

| So, it is that time of year where I reminisce, reflect, do the whole looking-back-on-my-life and think about shit thing. I'm going into my (probably) last year of undergrad and don't have a good idea what to do next. Grad school is an option, but I'm not sure if I actually want to BE a grad student or just like the IDEA of being a grad student. Just like how thinking and reading about physics is a lot more fun (in my mind) than doing assignments and taking courses in physics.
Once upon a time I said that I wanted to make a radiant webpage of my own design. I think I just might get around to doing that this fall.
I just found out that Robert Barrington Leigh is missing. Earlier this summer, my friend Gabe was telling me about a guy in his program who was 19 and ridiculously clever. I hope he turns out all right.
Lorri is in Calgary right now so to quench the loneliness I'm at work. I'd never make in the real world.
