| after the news of Korn's guitarist (Brian Head
Welch) conversion, here comes another "into the light" experience: John
Davis of the 90s powerpop band Superdrag left the
band to go solo and record a Christian album. living a life of
alcohol addiction, he faced his life's darkest period and
turned to Christ for help. he came from a Southern
Baptist background. his current independent release is compared
to the Beach Boys and the Replacements and is released by the indie
outfit Rambler Records.
