In the End, Pt. 1
By Linkin Park

I know, I know. You are probably wondering why I switch songs almost everyday. Well I wasn't going to switch for awhile, until I discovered this song. Right now it is my favorite song. You are now listening to In the End by linkin Park

I'm so sore. I spent awhile pulling weeds yesterday and right now I am paying for it.

Ooh! Check out dancing Gojyo...

Now playing is a midi I sequenced yesterday. It's the song Shooting Star. It was recorded by Boyzone. For those who don't know, it was to be used in the Disney movie Hercules. It was replaced by Go the Distance. That has to be one of my favorite movies. I know it isn't very popular, but I love it because it has a character I can relate to. He's a person trying to make it in this world, and prove himself. I'd say it is probably one of the most meaningful Disney movies ever because it's a movie you can learn a lesson from.

seems like no one thinks to much of me here
and they're glad to tell it to my face
and they're right I'm not supposed to be here
I'm completely out of place
somehow there has got to be a reason
evenings as I try to think it through
there's a bolt from the blue
and I see a shooting star
set apart from all the rest
while the other stars are standing still
he's on a quest
every night this shooting star
darts across the twilight sky
cause he knows he doesn't quite fit in
and he's longing to know why

I feel so much better when it's night time
that's when I can sort of disappear
when the sun has set and it's the right time
for pretending I'm not here
sometimes I just stare into the heavens
wondering if the answer is in sight
that's when I see the light..
of my steadfast shooting star
on his way to who knows where
he's so unlike all the stars
that he outshines out there
and this solitary star
is an awful lot like me
on an endless search through time and space
for a place that wont seem wrong

if we both hang on for long enough
if we both somehow are strong enough
we'll find out where we belong

~Shooting Star by Boyzone

That song speaks to me. It's an important song in my life at the moment. If you want to know why, it is because I feel worthless and like I don't belong anywhere. Not that anyone reads this journal anyways.

Frequently Asked Questions about the LDS Faith

1) Is the Mormon church a Christian church?

Yes. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he atoned for everyone one of us on the cross. We believe he resurrected and that he lives today.

2) Why don't Mormons observe the cross as a holy relic?

Because we focus more on the living Christ and the cross is a symbol of his death.

3)  Is it true you can't drink coffee, alcohol or use any tobacco products?

Well, God gave us all the gift of free agency, so I don't want to say that we can't. It is our choice however it is highly looked down upon. Look at it this way, our bodies are temples and that kind of stuff harms them.

4) Do you believe that Joseph Smith is holier than Jesus Christ?

No. Of course not. Joseph Smith was a prophet.

5) How was Satan cast down?

We believe that Satan wanted to come to Earth to be the Messiah, but since he didn't agree with giving us free agency,  Christ became our Messiah. Satan was angry and started a rebellion and was cast down. Those who chose to follow Christ were sent to live on Earth, whereas those who didn't were cast down with Satan. This war in Heaven is still going on and Satan tries to persuade us to follow him instead of Christ.

I'm not saying you have to believe all of this. It's what I believe as a person. Many people have false info about the church and I would be more than happy to clear any of it up.

This weekend was pretty ok. Friday night, I sat down and watched The Incredibles and then just hung out on the computer. Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I got out of the house for about an hour total, just to go get a DVD from Walmart and pick up Carl's Jr. I was supposed to go to this free anime screening at the main campus of my school, but it was storming there and I really didn't feel up to leaving the house again, but on a good note, I did preorder the Saiyuki Double Barrel collection volume 2 (^^!). Then I hung out on the computer till I went to watch The Forgotten. That is a weird ass movie. Afterwards I got on the computer again. Oh and I missed Kenshin because my stupid brain forgot grrrr. Last night I found out that I won 2nd place in a contest that was held on Crispin Freeman's Yahoo group. I won an autographed Hellsing DVD (Yay!) and some other Crispin goodies. He was one of the judges so it really made me feel good that he liked my entry. Today I went to church, came home and ate lunch and I started watching Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. Truthfully, I couldnt really stand it so I turned it off like 20 minutes into it. I popped in Bowling for Columbine. I'm not really a documentary type of person, but this film was great.
