I'm switching over to Google's Blogspot.  Tired of Xanga's ugly UI.

And I just noticed that I had a typo for the name of my blog all this time!  And I'm supposed to be QA?!?!

Oh boy oh boy.  I found torrent links for Mr Children albums in some Chinese site.  Now I just have to wait for these suckers to download.  Unfortunately, there's not that many people using the torrent, so I'm getting really, really crappy downloads.

TV is Good

Doood.  Nuggets beat the Spurs in Game 1.  If you'd even suggested the possibility of the Nuggets going over time with the Spurs two or three years ago, I would've called you crazy.  George Karl is doing a great job so far =)

I also had lots of fun learning about how Shroud of Turin and the construction of the island/airport in HK. Yay Discovery Channel.

Mr. Children

Lately, I've been test driving a lot of random music... Mostly jpop since I'm sorta getting tired of the stuff I've been hearing on the radio.  Last night, I happened across two tracks by Mr. Children, some Japanese rock group that I've never heard of but has been around for a long time.  I like their sound, a lot.  There's good melody going on...  If you know where I can find more of their music, please let me know =)  By the way, the tracks are "Kurumi" and "Hero", and they are both excellent (in a mellow, soft rock kind of way).

Imaginary and Real Bball

Through some strange turn of events, my Yahoo fantasy basketball teams ended up ranked #1, #2, #2... not too shabby, considering how I didn't get much time lately to manage them.

The recreational basketball league at work is starting up next Monday.  I've been playing random pick-up games in the gym this week.  I'm learning firsthand that full-court basketball requires a lot more endurance than I'd imagined.  Can't really shoot or think straight when I'm out of breath.  As a result, I've resorted to cheap tricks like steals and setting screens to keep my opponents from realizing how out of shape I am.  Having to guard against people taller and wider than me, I now understand how Earl Boykins feels.

Maybe it's too little, too late.  I think I'm in for some ugly league games.  Since they're playing by official rules (NCAA maybe?), maybe I'll try to get a technical for kicks.
