I LOVE YUNNAN

Thursday, July 06, 2006

my 'online' list is a lot shorter these days. wonder how you guys are holding up in the desert!

meeting tsu ern and youn sin for the last time tomorrow (: looking forward! and we're going to la casbah!! woohooo. hahaha

been going out a lot these days. so tired! but so happy and refreshed and enriched and just happy. whatever i'm not making sense!

*

the art excel course is tiring me out. omg apparently it's this detox process the course brings to your body. we're all sleeping at 9 these days. but today is an exception. (: had dinner at 9 after the adults had a kriya session and we watched dvds. bwahaha. and had auntie's wonderful apple pie! bellagio's taiwanese cuisine then filled us to our palates. meal was not bad. dessert was good. company was brilliant. i'm starting to love all these people. and it's just amazing how we get together- taiwanese, singaporean, indian, american, whatever. it's only been three days since we first met, but we're already like the best of friends. it's amazing.

pls don't leave tsu ern and youn sin.

it's all happening too fast. it's like a messy swirl of colours in my head. i need time.

grandma and aunt gonna come to shanghai this friday. then we're gonna go to yunnan! been planning the trip with mummy.

these views look so promising.

heard from lots of people that the real thing is even better than the postcard worthy photographs!

i'm looking forward!! (:

but oh heavens pls don't let it be true that all they serve is mutton and beef. i will not be able to stand it.

haha all the hearsay about the intolerable food in yunnan is making me treasure the food in shanghai. nic! jap food!! hahaha

LION KING!!! BLACK EYED PEAS!!!! HERE I COMMEEEE (:

i gotta say this. i love summer!

so we had the long-awaited prom yesterday. am proud of our class for having managed to orchestrate such a wonderful event (:

especially enjoyed siwon's class video. it was really sweet and funny. truly memorable!

equally memorable was the hair-makeup-nails preparation experience.

i'm just sad that they're all memories now.

but in fact, they all are: the final years. the hangzhou trip. international friendship day. the birthday parties. the choir performances. the excursions. the stupid myp tasks. personal project. the outings. the average schoolday. even s4 ruby is a memory in itself. with those farewells and new events, come the new school term, this crowd of unique personalities will never truly be the same.

before that happens, wanna say thanks to you guys for being such a beautiful part of my life. i enjoyed being with you guys a lot. hope to create more wonderful memories next year (:

sleptover at lynn's house after the prom. had fun! talked. swam. and watched the perfect man.

still amazed we could squeeze into one bed. and awed at joanne loh's ability to wake up at the crack of dawn despite sleeping after 2. and also at jon's endless energy. haha

we were supposed to meet the rest and tsu ern in the afternoon but ended up staying within lynn's estate the whole day... missed my chance to see youn sin before she leaves! i'm going to miss that pretty sweet artist ):

THE EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER! hahaha we can finally go out and have some fun (:

been out shopping with friends a lot these days. had loads of fun and memories. ended up going to xiangyang a lot. i shall miss it when it closes!! qipu can never compare to xiangyang. after all, one of xiangyang's most attractive features is its location- huai hai lu! which translates into more good shopping nearby, nice food, and not forgetting how wonderfully accessible it is for me.

had lots of birthdays this month. it's rather meaningless to write four personalized greetings at once so here's a collective shout-out: HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUNE BABIES!

my mind's been allowed to wonder more lately due to the sudden absence of deadlines. thanks dears for being there to let me empty it. i felt much better.

so happy that there's gonna be

GRADUATION CEREMONY on Wednesday

PROM on Thursday

NEARLY 60 DAYS OF FREEDOM after Friday.

the picture's almost perfect. the only black patch: the detestful farewells. especially when people leave to faraway places like the middle east and korea. next year will be so different.
