| Mother tongue teaching policy totally screwed up!!! Students from the past 10 years ago are poor white mouses, now they're all suffered with low competitiveness English, unfortunately many of them are doing some no future job! The gov saids "teaching in the mother-tongue and the mastering of English", however it's not gonna work, although students had a slightly improvement in Chinese, but the overall result in English is sharply going down. WTF with the former gov executive's head? they need more people to sweap streets? or making fries in McDonalds? NO! I think we need more people who can tell some good things about HK to the foreigners and not running away when they met any 'kwai lo'. Earlier today, the education chief saids 'schools can make own choice of whatever chinese or english as teaching language'. If mother tongue teaching is not effectiveness, why the gov need to implement this fucked up policy to those secondary schools??? why? that's meaningless! I feel mad and sad with this news because I saw some of my friends or many people around me, they're having a hard time to catch up their English. I hope people will alert to this serious issue, neither me or you can feel English is important, and it doesn't mean you can put Chinese away because if we want to integrate with the mainland, we had to learn Chinses well. |
