Now that microblogging is becoming all the rage, services like Ping.fm will allow for more entries to be loaded into what could have become fallow fields for commenting.
I have added Xanga to the list along with BriteKite and Friendster, two sites I have been terribly neglecting. -30-
There was a time this was good place to come and make Blog entries. Now it is all over the place with a "new" private page that is nothing more than a circus of advertising and cash generating hyperlinks. It still is not compatible with any of the off-line editors we use. This has to be because they want the bloggers to return here for exposure to the aforementioned links.
It has been a while since we’ve uploaded anything here in Xanga. Lack of desktop editors compatible with the blog format is the main reason.
