It will not be easy to ease the pain, since granny has passed away....
May be work more, may ease the pain... But I know that it won't be easy at all....coz ....

| It may not be a rational or wise decision to decide last minute to go to Yellowstone.
But I am happy that I went and we made it!! ^O^
It doesn't look like me at all, as I am just as what my prof said to me always, I am a walking organiser. I like planning, I like to see where we go from this to next point.
I don't know what drives me to decide to go without even having a second thought. May be, my brain has already filter and went through the possible dangers or things would happen, of course, I know we cannot predict accidents/suprises, but it seemed that my brain has gone through it when Evan asked me to go to Yellowstone on Friday night. It may be also that "Yellowstone National Park" is always my dream to go there.
I remembered that when I came to Canada which I was about 9 or 10 years old, I always wanna to go YSN park. I know that my dad wanna go too.
2 years ago, I said to myself, if I really gonna go back to Canada for university, I must and need to go to all the national park in North America. Probably I wanna to go so badly, and the "adventurous" gene that passed from grandpa, that's why it may not be a rational decision or thought for me at all. This also how adventure like then?! (or danger ?! haa haa)
I should be thankful that there wasn't anything happen, any danger happened, except the flat tire. It was a fun trip, Evan has prepared all the food and stuff for us. I am so thankful for that. We planned as we went along and in the car...It has been a fun, interesting trip. We have chatted a lot of interesting topics....it wasn't boring at all.
The nature is always so beautiful and Evan and I always say that when we are in Montana, it looks like Alberta....farm, farm, mountain, mountain, green green, brown brown...interesting scernery too...
Thank God that brought us safely to YellowStone and back home. Thank you God and I have been praying so much these two days too in this trip. I am sorry to make people to worry about the trip we went, and thank you for praying for us.
*p.s. funny thing when I back home...I realised that if you go camping, you really can lose weight..haa haa...I lost 4 pounds in 2 two days, even though all I ate was KFC, noodles, mashmellow, sauages, burgers, milkshakes...haa haa
**p.s. may be also should remember this day is...granny has gone...that I won't see her anymore..
| Sunday, we all woke up @ 8am and started packing up and cooking breakfast. We had noodles, hot chocolate/tea/coffee, energy bar... We left by 10:15am....the water actually boiled quite slowly...that's why... We planned to leave the park @ 1pm..but it turned out we didn't leave unil 3.30pm But we managed to come back in 6 hours. wow!!
Well, I didn't have much pictures for the geyser..it was so beautiful coz they have different colour and the steam was in blue/green/brownish/pink/orange colour.
Funny though that 3 of us started at the wrong starting point, we needed to hike for quite awhile. But we never see the end, except seeing people were looking at the geyser...we wondered, where the turning point to go there...as we had been walking straight for a long time... We then, decided to cut it short, to go through the "lake", which when we went across, there were little streams only, so we don't get wet and we could walk across it.
People would wonder on the other side, where we 3 came from, may be...haa haa We didn't see real animals, but we saw a dead body of a deer, which only the bones were left....Interesting!
We walked around the midway geyser, it was the highlight of the park!! A must to see!! Very nice!!
Then, we left about 1-ish, heading to the north entrance which we passed Mammoth, it didn't look as interesting as what we saw before, and we kept driving back home... We passed a fall though...very nice...there, we finally met Canadians who from B.C. haa haa Good stuff..

Way to Great Falls
Soooo green and blue..
In the car, I felt that I was really under a canopy...coz 360 degree around you, were blue sky and green land....so nice!! You can see the whole sky in one time!!
It was quite a long drive, 6 hours, we hitted Great Falls @ 6pm so we decided to have dinner.. The name of the restaurant was so funny..if you say it, sounds like you are swearing...haa haa

Very nice burger...we had a funny time about ordering, how do you want about your beef and bacon.. Nice milkshake too!!
Just 1/2 hour before we arrived the border, our car's tire, one of them gone flat...

so we needed to change a new tire...man...glad that, it was the back one... But then, after that, I started to have nose bleeding....probably too dry the place or my hay fever.. =.=""
A trip won't be perfect if without a nice sunset!! This was still in Montana... But when we arrived Leth, we saw a nice sunset!! So nice, but I didn't take any pic...
We arrived Lethbridge 9.20pm...Yeah!!! We made it! 3 of us were chatting on the way to YS Park and back to Leth, that we couldn't believe we made it!
WE MADE IT!!!WE MADE IT!!!WE MADE IT!!!WE MADE IT!!!WE MADE IT!!!WE MADE IT!!! Final thoughts will be added later.
| "Cop's story"
So, plan had been changed frequently, i.e. supposed to settle down, made our tent first (i.e. that means we were supposed before getting to Fountain Paint Pot, Old Faithful first, we should went to our camp ground, Grand Village, but coz on the way, we saw so many stuff + it was getting late, we really wanna to see something and the most convenient way was to go all these before heading to campground, and we didn't care about sleeping yet and feeding ourselves yet, (coz we were too excited?!) so, after seeing the eruption and etcetc.....by the time it finished, and we shopped in the gift shop, it was already 7pm.
The faked old faithful
While we were waiting, we took this pic but also an video..(upload later)
Sadly that, on the way to campground, there was a little accident on the road that we headed to campground. First we didn't know what happened, as there were at least 10 cars in front of us....so Yan and I got off the car to see what happened. What we saw were cops and ambulance..not the accident. I was asking people on the road what was happening. Gee...coz it was a tourist place, I asked the French...=.="" obviously no information I could gain from them, I finally realised what the Chinese always said, "conversation between duck and chicken" means now, then I headed to another car and asked...glad that he was an English speaker...haa haa...he said another 10 minutes..but then, the ranger later said to us about 20minutes..
So headed back and tried to tell Evan what's going on. But on the way back, I found that I could work in this park now, coz every single car asked me, what's going on?! What would they ask me? I don't even wearing the patrol's shirt or cop's hat....it seems that I was a worker there. =.="" and asked me question....probably they were too lazy to get off the car...
After we went back to the car, people behind us started to come out and walk outside.. =.="" Me and Yan were the head which leads people went up and saw what's going on..
Then, 3 of us decided not to stay in the car, coz it was too hot and bored. We walked up again, but this time, we walked to the ranger..=.="" who controlled the traffic...Obviously Evan started chatting with him, asking what's the highlight in the park, a must to see....etcetc...talk talk talk....while we were also feeding the mosquito.... I bet at least 45 mins passed...coz by the time that everyone could drive again, it was 8.15pm... We arrived the campsite, set up tents and stuffs....
Then we went for wood hunt! coz we needed wood for camp fire..
So here the "Cop's story" came in. We drove around and found wood...coz we asked one ranger before, could we collect the wood that on the ground, not cutting down the tree, he said okay. So we went to one place and collect the wood on the ground which previoulsy that workers left there for people to use.

Unfortunetly.....after we collected awhile, 3 of us on the "hill", we saw 2 cops car came to us. "Uh-ho" was my first thought, coz I knew that they may come, as the wood was too long to put into the car, we need to chop into half, of course, the wood was hard that not one chop could be done, while you chopped, there was echo I could here...so i guess that's how they knew, but Evan said that because we were across the police house, that they might see us earlier already..so... Anyway...Evan went down, and talked to the Park ranger for a little awhile and me and Yan were asked to go down too.
3 of us lined up in front of the cop's car and showed ID... Scary...coz I never talked to cops before. Then, the senior one checked our ID, while the younger ranger was looking at us. There was a funny joke in it though..but not gonna to talk about that now. We started chatting, after, he knew what we were studying... coz me and the ranger studied the same major, and I was amazed that, that could lead him to work as a ranger...Man!! It will be so cool!!! I wanna to get this job too...haa haa
Of course, there was a misunderstanding, coz where we were at that moment, was the "police's playground" + the place they practice shooting... but there was supposed a fence to say not allow enter, but that sign was removed, so not really our fault too..
The sunset

Campfire
More pictures needed from Yan for the camp fired and Old Faithful
Anyway, we headed back to campground to set up campfire... Fun...we were just 10 minutes before quiet time to set up the fire...(9.50pm)
We had noodles, sauages, chicken drum, mashmellow, juice, coffee for dinner...Yes...late dinner... But I wasn't hungry by that time. It was funny that Yan still wanna to have salt...we had been talking about meat without salt for a long time..we tried "to find" it on the road...haa haa.....but the sauage was salty enough, I don't we still need salt, right?! haa haa
We chatted until 12 ish and we sat we needed to go to bed. Man! When I first tried to sleep, I got scared by Evan, coz I heard something sniffing outside my tent and someone kicked the bucket we had...I thought don't tell me there was bear...or animals coming to attacked my tent...but it was Evan who was actally walking outside, as he said a night walk after we said we were going to sleep..Man...that's scare me.. Me living in one tent...supposed to have good sleep, but it was too cold throughout whole night, so I couldn't sleep at all, until 6am, that I finally managed to sleep for 1/2 hour.
Only Evan got enough sleep, which was good, coz he was the one who drive, he better to sleep more than we did for safety issue =p. That was the night...
