| Back home... But not my heart... Well... A piece of it. (made through MySpace... And I was half-awake)
Yo, all I gotta say is: I'm back, and I got love over here, still. But man... Like San Francisco's song: I left my heart in the Philippines. And this isn't a filipino-pride thing. I fell in love with the people that share the branches in my family tree, the places and religious aura, the GIRLS... Damn, everything! So yeah, I guess you can call it the flip-prideness you possessed when you're in Samahan or the high school filipino clubs... But seriously? It just humbles me and lets me know why I am who I am. Catholicism still reigning the PI... And it doesn't matter if it's not a religion of origin... All I gotta say is it's flaunted perfectly there! Faith is consumed by many. Hard-living is the labor... But in the end, the family and relatives are the foundation to keep you from falling. Love is a necessity in the Philippines. And I most def felt it with all my relatives and new friends. Life is a blessing 'cause it overcomes the hardships we all face. And I think we can use joy of the people as an example to roam in the States. Obtain that and then spread it. It'll eventually become a gift to those who are really in slums within my relatives' homeland. All the people are surviving there. Let's reward them with things of need to get by... And yo, on a side note: We can do the same for our international neighbors of the east. They need it. Man... Fashion and materialism ain't anything! Character progresses through the markings you place on people's hearts! That's what I learned during my stay there. Friendships tied tight... Families always watchin' each other... No matter what generation a member may be. Being human and havin' mistakes is just something to laugh about and shrug off. It's only a smile that stays permanent on one's mind. Both sin and saintliness proclaim the way you're animated. I experienced these things through all the actions and feelings in the Philippines.. And I wanna share it with y'all.
But man... I'll never forget the ones I automatically love and everything that penetrated this soul of mine.
Stay tuned for recaps and pictures. God bless! And I miss all of you! | | |
| Well, we arrived back home around 2 P.M. And man... I'm glad to be back! But yo, f'real... I'm straight about the whole thing wanting to return to the PI. I'm already missing everything there. But naw, there's always next year or the other. But yeah guys, I'm back, but I didn't become black! =) Stay tuned for some recaps and pics of my vacation. Peace! | | |
| 10 minutes before my time's up on the internet cafe... And, now, I decide to post a blog =P. Haha, I'm on filipino time for sure. Well ladies and gents, I'm in Seoul, Korea. Not actually; I'm just waiting in the airport for our flight back to Los Angeles. So yeah, we're on stop-over at the moment. Damn, let me just say: Have you ever been in that mode where you've done a lot in a month, but not satisfied from leaving all that action? Have you ever been in the feeling where you think you haven't completed everything? Well gotta go! | | |
| I wish my stay can be longer. Actually... I wanna stay here for quite a long time. | | |

Alright. I'm in Dagupan, Pangasinan at the moment... I'm with my cousin, Fiona, and her boyfriend at this internet cafe. Speaking of computers, guys... If you're into RPGs, try Ragnarok! And go on the Philippines server. It's very popular here, and is old school looking. Be sure to check it out (I'm practicing my advertising so I can get hired in the PI. Haha) Oh yeah, and Rose is, too... Gravity, here, is like the Square Enix of the states. So hmmm... Well, I'm chatting with a lot of you in the states, right now... And what else am I missing? I went to this place called Greenbelt in Makati. It's a nice bar-hopping area for people. Lots of cute chicks... And by the way: A lot of mixed races are there, too. But then, again, I haven't been to all clubs yet! I mainly hung out with my cousins Aissa and Maricel during my stay in the city. My Ate Leah's been busy with her physical therapy major. Siya ay very studious! So I wasn't able to hang out with her much. My nephew, Jemmo, had a seventh birthday... And damn, he basically had a cotillion for boys! I was like, damn... Haha. And this was only the second day we've been here. It was dope 'cause I clicked with my relatives right away! I met cousins like Carlo, Jelly, Jekka, and Aissa's friend, Des. Freakin' Aissa tried to hook me up with Des, haha. All good. The next few days, we went to the Mega Mall, SM Bicutan, and Green Hills... Yeah, Zell, you're right about the bootleggers here. Haha. I bought Ju-On 1 and 2 in the Astrovision store in Bicutan... And yeah, Ju-On 2's pretty good... Not as good as the 1st, though. =/ I went to a nephew's christening. We got treated to another smorgasbord of fine food. Gosh, maraming! I met Leah's best friend, Rhea. It's funny 'cause their names rhyme. =) Over there, I met my cousins (who can be as old as my dad), both young and old... And I drank up with the boys. Ang San Mig ay masarap! Don't worry, I'm not fobitizing. Did I also mention I visited Uncle Bobot's family? And I also went to visit my cousins from my Dad's side. Shoot, my aunties look exactly like my Dad. It's crazy! But yeah... It doesn't end; this family tree of mine. I have grandkids and nephews... And nieces... Damn... It's crazy! I'm afraid I might be related to a girl I'd have a crush on. Haha. But it's very overwhelming! Overall, it's nonstop going out! I wish I could just sleep during one whole day. Haha. I showed my cousins some of your pictures. They think all of you are cute or handsome. I'm not going to tell who I showed, though, haha. Guys... Gals... I have to seriously recommend all of you to hang out in the PI. It's so laid back and beautiful here! Well, besides the dirtiness... It's just the closeness and love of the people you meet. It really attracts you. And damn.. Ate Liz and Joy, you're both right! And yeah... I kinda wanna live here one day. Chad wants to live here, too! Haha. The people sing and dance here at times because they want to remain happy. It's not a facade thing, though... Surely there's drama here... But they remain strong... And this can be because they have a lotta faith here. Like seriously!! Maraming Katolikos sa Pilipinas!
BRB... I'm gonna chat on AIM. =) I'll finish this tomorrow! It's around 4:30 P.M. right now in the PI... It's Friday.
