| eew. today's train is smelly & noisy! gross.
why am i on the train home again? residual guilt from the last time i got guilted into mrt-ing home. for the uninitiated, my dad normally drives out from home to pick me up after work. some say i'm spoilt, but i say it was my parents' choice to spoil me in the 1st place. >.< but before you start gasping in indignance, look, i'm mrt-ing alright? boo.
i'm in no mood to look for eye candy on the train today (not that there'd be any), mainly cos i feel ugly :( can't look around if you don't look up. just having a bad hair day is all, but it's enough to put a damper on my mood.
had a really bad day at work, all through my own fault for once. been feeling rather incompetent of late. really don't see how someone as capable as i am can be so useless. just stating facts. either that or i have extreme self-image issues.
psle results are out thursday! so excited for my kids. really am hoping for the best for them, and hope they can all get into a school that suits them. | | |

| another cold rainy day... really doesn't feel like sg when the weather's like this... but i like it! as long as it stays consistent - none of that 1 minute pouring next minute hot as hell crap for me please. time to break out the winter clothes! =D
i remember one of those things i wanted to blog about. recently there was an article on whether shorts are too short or too provocative or smthn. i didn't read through the whole thing, but i do remember some line about these girls getting 'unwanted attention' from 'lecherous men' or some such, and how it makes them uncomfortable.
well, duh! ok, it's rude to stare, but when you put things up for display, you have to expect people to look. if you don't want people to look, don't display. if it's for selected people only, then don't display in public. duh.
as you can probably tell, i don't generally wear shorts in public, sports venues & beaches excepted. mainly cos i think you should only display if it's worth looking at.

| yes, days of mrt-ing are here again. beats having to curse my way thru peak hour traffic actually, plus i get to blog.
what happened was, the parents went away for 2 weeks so i had to drive to work, & it quite sucked, esp paying for parking. but they came back last night, so once again i'm public transporting.
the people aren't that ugly today actually. *ahem*
i'm gonna have a dead tiring week ahead, i can feel it. preping for a gig so it'll be full of stressing over chord sheets & the like. not looking forward to that.
this past weekend was hell, & i couldn't think why because it was quite unpacked as far as weekends go, but today i've decided that it was a reaction to 2 weeks of waking up early in the morning. there is a price to pay for pretending to be a morning person, and this is it. extreme lack-of-sleep hangover that just creeps up on you and that'll probably last the whole of this week. perfect.

| but other than that, things hv been going pretty well this week. i'm blogging on the train again. it's v full today boo.
work's been surprisingly cool & enjoying, mostly cos my manager's been in a great mood these 2 weeks. it really makes things so much easier sometimes.
my sis bought me a cookie when she came to my office just now! =D i'm happy heh. altho i'm late for class again, very late actually, & i've got a headache =(
eew many ppl crowding into train. sometimes i understand why people ride motorcycles despite the utter disrespect that s'porean drivers show to bikes here.
to be fair though, as a (rather aggressive) driver, i think that bikers shld first show respect for their own safety if they're to expect us to respect their space. if you choose to come hurtling straight at me at ridiculous speeds, why should i risk injury to myself & my family just to preserve your life?
ok yuck i just got stuck in an awful crush of ppl. ugh. honestly, with this amount of ppl you'd think there'd be 1 hot one. | | |
