| This was another excellent weekend. Last Thursday, I went out
drinking with Brian, Kieth, Bigler, and Barb. We went out to
Wrigleyville to Casey Moran's and Barleycorn, because BR whined about
it. Yet the bastard ditched us and didn't show. We then
went over to Blue Iguana where Bigler worked his magic with the ladies,
we all got hammered, and everybody for some reason kept hitting one
another in the crotch. Brian, Kieth and I somehow ended up at
VIP's. I got home at 4:45, which is exactly 2 hours and 15
minutes before i needed to get up for work. Needless to say,
Friday was not a pleasant day at work.
Kieth's wedding was Saturday, and Allie came up from U of I to go to it
with me. Again, everyone got inebriated, and Kevin and Collin put
on some quality drunken displays. Kevin managed to get cut off
from the bar, and Collin put on a dancing clinic. There was a lot
of drinking, dancing, and a great time all around. I'd go into
greater detail, but I'm tired, and nobody really reads this crap anyway.

| Today was an uneventful day, except for going out to Halligan's to have
a few drinks with Gia and company. Happy 21st birthday to Ms.
March, who is now finally a big girl. Also, in the last entry, I
seem to have forgotten to mention that I did manage somehow to finally
graduate from the hell hole that is Loyola University Chicago.
Hot dog!

| Ok, what's it been- 4 months since my last entry? A few things
have happened since then. Here's a recap for all of you who have
been waiting anxiously on updates about my life. In the past few
months I have:
*Moved in with Josh and Black Ryan
*Got a job at InnerWorkings as an IT Quality Assurance Analyst (I don't know what that means, either)
*Met and started dating Allie
*Got drunk many, many times
*Played a lot of poker
*Lost 15 pounds
*Seen Bigler way too often
*Been to a Willie Nelson/ Bob Dylan concert, as well as Weezer
*Laughed as Kaster has been arrested twice
*Gone to the Betleys' 21st birthday parties
*Been to 2 absolutely insane bachelor parties- Kooistra's and Kieth's
That's all I can think of at the moment. Hopefully I will get my
lazy ass back in gear and start updating this journal more regularly.

| Ok, there's been a big lapse in entries. The reaons for this are threefold. First, finals have been occupying a great deal of my time. Second, I have been spending the rest of my time in an alcohol-induced stupor. And thirdly, I am a lazy bastard. Since I am not going to delve into my usual day-by-day reporting, I will simply highlight some of the things which have happened to me in the last three weeks.
Loyola's baseball season ended on a down-note with a two-game sweep by Ball State. As usual, my baserunning was superb, though my hitting was lackluster. We ended the season in style with a sausage-fest style party at 1307.
Last Wednesday, Kevin, Kaster, Jen, Jackie, Leia, Matt, and I went to see Weezer at the Aragon. As always, they put on a hell of a show. Good times were had by all.
I have been to Hamilton's a ridiculous number of times lately, usually 2-3 times per week. Many drunken occurances have resulted, as well as great times. I have gotten drunk with B.R. and Joe Emanuele a bunch of times, though perhaps the craziest night was when we partied with Tony. We were all hammered at the bar, watching Johnny hang all over these 2 ladies on the dance floor. After making an ass of himself and giving up on getting either of the girls, his drunk ass wandered home. Somehow, the girls ended up coming home with Tony, Ryan, and I to play beer pong at Tony's place. We discovered, however, that it was 3 a.m. and we had no beer. Tony and I then ran over to 1307, where Taylor answered the door completely naked. As to why he was sitting naked in the living room playing video games with Dan, I can't even begin to guess. Anyway, we stole all of their beer, including a week-old keg, and went back and played some hardcore beer pong. Tony then was making out with the one girl, while the other was stumbling around the apartment and sucking at beer pong. Apparently he said something really offensive to the girl, because she stormed out of his room and dragged her friend home with her. Aside from these drunken events, the last two nights have been particularly fun. Friday night, about 20 of us went to Tequila Roadhouse for free drinking, then back to Rogers Park, B.R.'s, and Hammy's. I was drunk out of my mind, and ended up riding the L home at around 5 a.m.. Both Friday night and last night, I hung out with Renee, which was awesome. Unfortunately, she left today to go back to Omaha for the summer. While I understand the mass appeal of a wild city like Omaha, it sucks nonetheless that she won't be around for the next few months.
As you can no doubt tell, there is a definite pattern developing of drinking, playing beer pong, and going to Hamilton's. While this may seem repetitive to some of you, I enjoy all of these activities greatly, and will likely continue to do them.
And obviously, the big news is that I am now done with my undergraduate college career. Thank you to all of you who have congratulated me (all 2 of you bastards). I graduate officially on Friday, but please don't anybody ask me about my future plans. I still have no idea, and I am tiring of telling everyone that it is all up in the air. I will either be spending the next year going to grad school in Chicago (pursuing a master's in bio or chem, most likely), playing poker professionally, or moving to California. If I stay here in Chicago, which I'd say has about a 90% probability, I need to find somewhere to live. I am tired of my current apartment, and am looking to move out and have roommates so i'm not so damn bored. If anybody is looking for a roommate, don't hesitate to let me know. Alright, enough writing for now. I'm done.
| So it's been another long and relatively wild week, filled with boozing and baseball. Last Thursday, Joe Emanuele and I won 7 games of beer pong in a row, then headed with the other freaks to Hamilton's. I got royally hammered, and ended up sleeping on the couch at 1307.
I woke up Friday morning with a rare but wicked hangover. This, of course, kept me from attending class, and led me to stay in bed all day. I got out of bed in time to drive Nick, Joe, Black Ryan, and Joe E. to Tequila Roadhouse. After an hour of free drinking, we made an abrupt stop at Hogs and Honeys, then headed back to BR's to play some beer pong. Joe E. and I teamed up yet again, but BR miraculously managed to end our winning streak at 16 games (my personal streak at 23). After this tragedy, we all headed over to Hammy's and closed it out. Joe managed to commit several party fouls, dropping multiple full beers. On my way out of the bar, after a brief stop at Georgetown, I encountered Johnny Robinson playing in the dirt in the landscaping box of some church parking lot. The drunk bastard even tried to hand me a flower plant he had dug out of the ground.
Saturday, we played a doubleheader against U of I. I once again showcased my superior pinch-running skills, scoring 3 runs in the first game. The game was a battle, as we came from behind 4 times to force it into extra innings. With a tied game, 2 outs, and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning, Ross delivered the apparent game winning hit to the outfield. Yet Alex "Stupid" Christian, the runner on first, decided to run in towards the dugout rather than continuing to second, assuming the game was over as the run scored. Recalling the infamous Merkle boner (probably only Hall knows what that means, which is sad since many of you readers are Cubs fans),. I alertly ran towards the field, screaming at Stupid to run back and touch 2nd. Confused as usual, he listened to me, beating the throw by only a half-step, and thus preserving our victory. However, the excitement of our victory was short-lived, as we got dominated the 2nd game. The only high point of the game was when Adam pitched both left-handed and right-handed in the same inning. Saturday night, we all headed over to Tony's to play beer pong. From there, Tim, Tony, Hall, and I headed to Hamilton's (suprises, surprise). Full joined us as we headed back to Tony's after the bar closed. There was almost a fight, as some drunk bastard tried to start something with Tony, but sadly, his friends dragged him away. We had some drunken fun throwing garbage cans and shopping carts on our walk back, and causing general drunken scenes. We concluded our drinking at 4 a.m., which was smart since we had another game at noon on Sunday.
In Sunday's game, we got absolutely destroyed by U of I, allowing 11 of their 13 runs to score unearned. Tony had to be taken to the hospital with a concussion after a nasty first-inning collision with Taylor. I played poker that night, losing as well, and wrapping up a generally shitty day.
Happy birthday to Kristin Becker.
