I must say, I love reading Yarn Harlot's blog.

She's hilarious.

DS is still teething, but hasn't cut a tooth yet. I wonder which one it will be.

The wristwarmer and pattern are completed and gone. Yay. I'm just about to turn the heel on Johns felted slippers. They are going very quickly.

I saw Star Wars last night with someone from knitting at k/p. Mostly just to appease the gods of pop culture. I liked the political undertones, As a matter of fact... That is the best part of the entire film. Perhaps that and seeing yoda talk trash and kick some ass. Another thing that i enjoyed about the movie was the Chronicles of Narnia trailer. Wow, that looks great! I love what they did with the White Witch.

I'm feeling insecure today. I think that I might be too sarcastic. I feel like i'm a generally nice person, and I would never say anything that i knew would hurt a persons feelings.. but, mabye people take some of the things that I say the wrong way? I am going to try to tone it down a bit. -fistshakey- no more sarcasm for meeeee. I wanna be a nice lady and make people feel like they rock.

Yep, I have social problems.

We are heading out to the coast when DH gets home from work, he has work stuff to do out there.. Sooo we might as well have some fun too, ne? I want to go to the forest and build more wee fae houses, and search for some club moss. Club moss was used as a mordant for fiber in Europe before they used aluminum sulfate/acetate. I've been dy(e)ing -harhar- to experiment with it.

Yes, boring blogging. I'm halfheartedly thinking about discontinuing this bloggy adventure.

This is turning out to be a very good week.

Thursday night I went to Knit/Purl for their SnB. Wow... All that I can really say about that place is Wow. Very  very dangerous.

I brought along my lonely wristwarmer (see photo last post) and started working on it's pair. The owner of the store really liked it... So she sent me home with a skein of yarn to make a sample, and wanted me to type out the pattern for her to sell in her store. Wahoo! I'm excited! The yarn that i'm making them with this time around is some handpainted sock merino.

I can't believe someone is going to pay me to knit. :]

That's the only news i've got for now.

Guess what i got in the mail today... Two skeins of Arauncania Nature Wool from J! Yay! I'll get started on fuzzyfeet tonight. I can't believe how fast the yarn got here. It only took like two days. Now i definatley know where i'll be getting my yarn in the future (www.loopyarn.com). I'm sooo impatient, I hate waiting for things to come in the mail.

So heres the pair of wristwarmers that i'm working on.. I have only done the cast-on for warmer #2 so far, It's been neglected. The lonely wristwarmer.  I know. I haven't even woven in the ends yet. I will someday. Hehehe.  This leads to my big question for the day. Notice the merino "fuzz halo"? What's up with that? I always get a fuzz halo. How do I remedy this? Will it go away once it's washed?

Tonight I think i might go to knit purl for their open knit. Haven't made up my mind yet. That place is way way way too dangerous. I don't really know what to expect there as far as company.

DD and I discovered a fabulous way of mopping the floor. We have this shallow box with wheels on the bottom, and it's really fun to climb in and wheel yourself around.. Anyway. I readied the mop and we both hopped in and "rowed" around the living room in our new pirate ship! Yay for pirates!
