Happy 1st Birthday, Lilly!
Last year, at 7:27 AM, Lilly was born. God has been so faithful in bringing us through this year and providing for all our needs. We were all so blessed at the party! All our friends and family who said they would come, came and showered Lilly with so many gifts. Thank you all!

Lots more pics on Flickr. |

| It's snowing again! Tomorrow is supposed to be Lilly's 1st birthday party. We're still going to set everything up and buy the pizzas. I just hope people will still be able to come! I pray that the roads will be cleared by tomorrow morning.
Last year, Lilly was born on the coldest day of the year. So I guess it's not a big surprise that there's a big snow storm the weekend of her birthday. Maybe Lilly will just associate her birthday with cold, snowy days, and possible school closings. It's like how I think of hot weather, summer break, and vacationing with my July 4th birthday.
Anyway, I can't believe Lilly is turning 1 on Sunday! The year has gone by so fast! I'm sure I'll write an entry about the party later. Here's a picture of Lilly trying out her Sesame Street party hat. That's not the theme for the party (there's no theme). I just thought the hat was cute! Lilly likes Elmo too.

| When I first caught a glimpse of The Office on T.V. I thought Steve Carell's character was just obnoxious. I wasn't interested in watching, but Dave kept hearing from friends that it was a hilarious show that he would like. Over the weekend, we watched season 1, and I must admit it is pretty funny. Dave's humor is rubbing off on me ... awkward silences can be funny!
The other night, Dave asked me if watching The Office made me want to work in an office. I said, No! I'm glad I don't work in an office like the one on the show. Actually, I'm thankful that I've never had to work in an office like that. My past jobs have always been pretty fast paced and kept me busy. I've worked in restaurants, kids summer day camp, childcare, and a few different schools. I guess most of my past jobs involved kids, and they will keep you busy and on your toes! Even my current job involves a little one who keeps me busy and on my toes!
