| Hola a todos!
I'm back - but just for an update!
Don't get me wrong, I'm going to continue M.I.Aing after this post and maybe come back in a few months, or years possibly... :p
I've been pretty good and I thank God for all the blessings he's given to me.
The only thing that ticks me off right now is that it has come to light last week that the School of Law in my uni has decided to reduce the number of lectures by 1/3 for 2009/2010.
The clandestine manner of how the decision came about is making current undergraduate students boil.
Did they take into account that international students pay 3x more than the locals pay for fees?!
(Though the idea of even less lectures makes days seem like a breeze...)
Edit 26th April: The Law School has decided to give our lecture hours back to us! But for students in the upcoming 2010/2011, your lecture hours may be cut. May not seem quite an ideal way to study anymore - fyi, for some of you whom may be applying to University of Manchester after your 1st year in HELP University.
Anyway,
I shall now entertain you with random pictures - since I last blogged.
Medical Half-Way Ball
I had fun dancing in the Ceilidh, a Scottish Country Dance enjoyed by a large number of people - informally or formally done :) The exact same Edinburgh cafe J.K Rowling sat in to warm her bum, and got the inspiration to write Harry Potter! Sharing how Christmas is spent in Ba'Kelalan Malaysian Students' Society of Manchester Stepping down from the committee of one of UK's largest Malaysian Society.

Haha!! :p Snow in the UK like it has never snowed before in previous years!
Oh yes, did you do good to Earth?
Because during Earth hour at 8.30pm T* called and asked what I was doing.
I replied him, "Adam's Family on TV, why?"
Oops!

That's because of the craaazy vibe in there! Not a fan of football, but I got to touch Ronaldo!

The food's been making me big +_+ DJ Sammy playing in the back Strutting my Lun Bawang costume. That's all for the updates, there are much much more but many aren't in visual form - and I've lost my touch for blogging here.
I hope I hear no more of stalker issues though they do say, impersonation's the best compliment.
I'm still alive and well in Facebook - I just won't accept friend requests if I don't know you (personally) well. Sorry! +_+
My private life is mine, and not for sharing unless I intend to.
Sharing sometimes ain't caring - you should know that! ;)
Cheers, xoxo

| TIRED
which also synonyms with:
BEAT
BUSHED
BORED
DEPLETED
DRAINED
JADED
SPENT
and
OVEREXTENDED.
Those are my reasons for not blogging.
Also, another reason would be that this blog, or maybe me (I don't know), has garnered enough attention that the author just doesn't want.
Yes, there comes a time when blogging just gets a bit out of hand and you feel like maybe you need a little break from it!
Time for a break.
I'll still keep my Xanga open and unlocked, because i've made good friends through here and I wouldn't want to lose them.
I've moved and my lips are sealed on this.

| Help end world hunger!
That's right!
Sometimes you're lazy to get your bum out of the house to do charity, right?
Why not do it straight from your computer, WHILE having fun testing your vocabulary!
Okay, maybe because it's just me that I read the dictionary when i'm bored...
I mean, lotsa people do too....right? =/
BUT:

With every word you get right - you donate 20 grains of rice!
That's not a lot, really, but you could get to 3000 grains of rice maybe in 15 minutes? (and try not to cheat and look at the online dictionary!)
My form of entertainment while taking a break from studying during my exam!
I got so addicted to it!
And i've gotten quite a few addicted to it too, yay!
Not only that, the vocabulary gets harder and harder making it more challenging!
And
this is cool, because sometimes you have no idea what the word means
but your brain always seems to know the correct answer anyway!
Must be all that subconscious intakes while reading the dictionary.
Wait, have you tried reading the medical dictionary! Amazingly interesting!
Haha!
And, the only reason why i'm blogging is because I think this project is awesome - and workable!
So take the initiative and donate rice while increasing your vocabulary knowledge!

| "You're a stunner." - He says
With a McVities yogurt digestive in hand, I realise that I have not replied the chatbox on the right column in ages - nor have I updated this blog in ages.
And about the stalker below, well, I had people sending me messages giving me more evidence on the said person. Could be true, could be not.
I can't be bothered about it anymore anyway!
And I was thinking of putting this blog on a Friends Lock but that would be too much a hassle.
And i'd definitely cut down on whoever can view this blog - so I might as well leave it to public view anyway!
Anyways, I cannot believe how fast time flies - i'm nearly done with my First Year in University!
Then i'm home for the Summer! O_O
And here's how you gain 10kg:
Squid eggs! Patatas bravas; fried potatoes with garlic mayonaise & slight sweet chilli sauce! Some sort of paella... Good homemade dinner! Montaditos! Crisps with olives!
All that cheese! :) Tapas! Pastries yumm. Panini! Jamon Serano on bread & olive oil :) Having C*'s mother's world-class homemade paella!
Gorgeous!
Swallow it all with 'wine of summer' with a touch of lemon in it.
Or maybe have a typical Spanish Sangria! Mix all the contents! Go back home packed with more food!
And that's Spain for you.
There were more more food, but I didn't take pictures of them all. Should have though!
See how much food is a part of me when i'm living independantly.....no wonder I put on so much weight ever since I started living away from Miri (2006 onwards).
And see how they decorate Virgin Mary:
With flowers! Yeah, her dress is made out of flowers!
Spain is a Catholic country (hence the Virgin Mary emphasized).
And I got to actually see the 'Holy Grail'....in Saint Mary of Valencia Cathedral.
C* tried so hard to zoom the camera to focus! This is pretty good already haha! :D
When I was there, the 'Las Fallas' Festival was on!
Just google it, and you'll know what I mean!
In costume, fiestaing through the streets! Look at their beautiful dresses!
Even the little children dance throughout the streets!
It's such a nice sight to see them all happy, dancing, singing!
EVERY single day during that 5-day festival! And their elaborately detailed hair! Music on the streets, everywhere you go!
And no doubt, Spanish men are very good-looking! They have very defined facial features, and just generally look very 'macho'! :p
Even the fathers pushing their little tots in trams are hot! (ok, well, you know what i mean!) And they CAN sing! Dressing up in costumes is all part of the 5-day festival too! I was lucky to have gone with my Spanish buddy; C* who hails from Xativa, Valencia.
That was definitely a worthwhile trip, without even spending much money too!
C*'s friends are super nice, practically the whole city knows C*!
And I learned more Spanish too!
Everywhere I went, everyone were so friendly, so nice!
I had discounts off stuff (like shopping!), free food, free lodging, etc. Man, good good!
:D
S* checking out how to light this massive firework!Playing our own crazy fireworks!
At the castle in Xativa, posing on fake steps It was an awesome experience - I got to truly be a Spaniard there (hehe).
And yes, they eat 5 times a day. No kidding. Their dinner actually starts at 10pm!
More candid shots by C*. Everybody siesta (sleep) after lunch which is around 2pm.
So that means, shops are closed from 1pm - 5.30pm!
Then they open again from 5.30 - 8pm +_+
The streets are massive, but because of the festival everyone prefers to walk instead of driving so the streets were fully packed with humans!
The 'Las Fallas' Festival (which only happens in Valencia) also has these gigantic monuments which are made from..PAPER!
And a lot are as tall as 40 to 50 metres!
So for 5 days, these monuments are put static on different streets...
This one won 2nd place! And this one won 1st place! It is SO huge it really blows your breath away! Then on the last day....they BURN IT!! +_+
And it all cost millions and millions of euros.
Being a true half-chinese, I go: Wah, what a waste la! All that money! etc. etc.
They also have streetlights! And this is a competition during the festival too!
Try walking under that :)
Easter festival coincides with the Las Fallas festival this year, so I got to experience 2 very big festivals in Spain!
And amazingly beautiful fireworks at night everyday!
 With C*, M* & JC*, chilling.
I met so many people there, because of C*.
Made many friends, formed new relationships :)
It was totally awesome!
And I don't think i'll be updating here longer anymore.
Will see how it goes.
See ya!
P.S: Thanks for reading my blog all this while! :)

| I hate being famous.
EDIT 2nd March 2008: We think it's a...sorry about the name, but we just can't help it. We're quite sure it's someone called:
"Marian Supang Sia"
or
"Marion Supang Sia".
Whatever.
You look old enough.
Get a LIFE!
I hate being this popular without even trying to be.
Now I'm not an egofied prick, when I say that.
But when somebody invades your privacy, no, stalks you silently -
Not only stalks you silently, but impersonates you.
Are you shocked?
Freaked out?
Pleased?
Or just pissed?
Because, I am someone who rarely gets angry.
But when I found out accidentally nearly 2 weeks ago that someone made another Friendster account of me - copying my quotes from this very blog, taking pictures from this very blog, and PRETENDING to be me...
I got so pissed off.
I really was.
Of course, after a while I laughed it off.
I have no idea who you are, but it's not right to take someone else's identity SINCE 'APRIL 2007' and write on other people's walls, trying to imitate the way I talk.
I'm glad almost everything I write on this blog is impersonal, and very general.
Though, I must say....you're a nice fan.
I saw you writing on other people's walls, you didn't make 'me' say horrid things.
I don't know if your real name is 'Marian', because we suspected it is.
After you found out we viewed the impersonated profile - in a matter of hours you deleted the account, and changed your real account to another name.
This same thing happened last year, with some random person(s) pretending to be me.
Just click on the picture and read what I have to write.
But hey everyone, I very rarely open my Friendster account now, we all use FB.
And this is my real account if you see it (it's privatized btw):
I didn't bother putting a background for my profile because I like things looking simple.
And I have not changed my profile picture in ages.
But look at the FAKER below: The person stole my profile picture from this Xanga Blog.
Those friends in her friends list are not mine.
And that background looks like something I wouldn't put as a background anyway.
Then the person steals my photos from this blog to probably convince people that it's the real Saran:
FAKE: This is the first page of the gallery REAL: This is MY first page of my gallery.
If you're that hardcore to view my past entries, you can tell that the Faker's pictures are ALL taken from this blog.
And the person we think is the creater of this Fake Friendster called 'Vorlotwen' instead of 'Saran' is:
SUSPECTED CULPRIT: 'MARION'
'Marion' stole my picture on my blog which was on my New Years post - and put it as her Profile Picture!
And she even used my quote of "I shall not run from trials and tribulations -" under that PP of hers.
See, the Faker copied it!
GRRR.
Then when the Faker realized that we 'discovered' the account, she deleted the 'Vorlotwen' profile:
And changed her name, and picture! (look below)
Isn't it just too obvious now?
I bet you thought you got away with impersonating as me, but don't worry - I've got too much proof :)
And since I know that you're a super duper avid reader of this blog of mine, I do hope this post makes you blush in embarrasment, in shame.
Because really, I think you know me, or maybe I know you too.
And it looks like you're from my hometown, or maybe from Sarawak.
I won't snigger you up.
I'll just demand an explanation from you.
You do know, this is against my human rights.
And it's fine if it's a fansite.
But not when you're persuading people that you; the shameless faker - is ME. The Real Saran.
How dare you.
How dare you even dare to reply to photo comments:
Zieqa: You pretty! [;
Vorlotwen (the faker): thanks =]] ur pretty as well.
Tell me.
WHO are you to reply that 'you' are "pretty".
Only the REAL PERSON gets the right to.
ONLY ME.
You don't.
Want to know why?
Because you are NOT me, you will never be me.
So quit it already.
Even I don't reply to petty comments about me being pretty.
It's such a laugh, really. Ha ha.
That you even checked out Audrey's blog, stole her captions.
I think I know what background you come from, you must be a Lun Bawang.
Or from some other tribe, or whatever.
And that you have this 'patriotic' desire because you're proud of being Lun Bawang.
I am proud of my roots too, but really. You just piss me off.
You pissed my friends off.
I don't know if you admire me so much that you want to be me.
Or you just want to play some stupid joke.
Because frankly, I don't find it so amusing.
I am a very straight-forward person.
I don't anger easily, I keep my cool very well.
But when things like these happen over and over again I just get, you know. Pissed off.
Everyone knows I like my privacy.
So I really don't welcome pesky intruders into my life.
And please. If you were planning to be me, at least get your facts right:
"Lunbawang gals..proud 2b! XD"
Seriously la. Even I don't type "2b" ever.
And what?? The others aren't lunbawang girls.
Only me.
The other 3 are all chinese.
+_+
And I absolutely hate it when you dragged my friends into this as well.
"me with claise RWMF 07"
......you know what? Her name is NOT Claise.
Just so you know :)
And bringing in John's picture?
Please.
And hey, thanks for adding people and writing on their walls, making them believe that 'Saran' is talking to them.
And making them reply to you, thinking that you are the real 'Saran' :
Don't you have other things to do?
And this is such an IRONY.
So she copies a picture of N*, K* and I:
"Fun fun fun! woz dat guy bhind us!??? lol" And this 'Marion' dude comments on this picture saying:
"stalker! haha"
...
I can't even begin on what to say.
Like.
No, I can't.
Well, all I can say is: Thank you for pointing yourself out man.
And the dude behind is a friend, thankyouverymuch.
"In Cardiff"
Bloody. I haven't even gone to Cardiff yet.
Get your facts right!
"During xmas eve"
Dude, I wasn't even in the UK during Christmas Eve '07!
And this picture was taken wayyy before December.
I've had my say.
I know that somehow, in another way or another there'll be more 'lovely fans' of me popping up here and there.
And the internet has unlimited freedom.
But, before any of you potential crazed persons want to do this...
How would you feel if this happened to you, and it suddenly went out of hand and you feel like you're under scrutiny?
I'm just disappointed that even people like you would have so much time to do this when you can spend it on doing resourceful things.
Because this is just not cool.
