still trying hard to walk down a path that i would look back without regrets years down the road .. attempting to balance the many priorities in life and learning to appreciate the small things which were given to me. learnt not to live in the past, so you will only see recent posts.
made zhu and ck go to downtown orchard with me on a friday evening. i have faint memories of my papa driving me there to look at the christmas light-up.
i wasn't sure if i had once again constructed those memories 'cos i saw photos of myself with the lighted backdrop. but today, those memories have never felt more real.
i felt a sense of peace within myself.
that's what christmas is about.
today, zhu, ck and i spent an hour playing monopoly on iphone inside tcc.
since i wrote or had a weekend which is not packed my year-end weekends have been marked with weddings and loads of other commitments.
this is a great weekend, had my own time to do my own stuff. work up late on sat. started watching "宫心计“ shopped a lot on my own at causeway point got these disney tops for my colleagues' babies who are all turning one tog.
dropped my shopping and had a drink at mt emily with a friend small but nice place to chill out
had a good lunch at pu tien with family today and spent a long time at the new mall next to mustafa it was surprisingly not packed with people i was expecting
found time to do a montage with my sister-in-law's help its now up on my wall
the turning radius my head has been limited. much better now, thanks to the massage package offered by mika just now. she said i looked like an owl, when i was trying to see how much i can turn after 20 mins of painful massage.
and she also accompanied me to return my long overdue library book and insisted that i pay my fine on the spot, and clean my records.
anyway, the almost-complete gr turned up for mervyn and eve's son first month celebration today did a bit of catching up there were also different tutorials on reno, baby care, nappy usage.
