| everyone's talking about reach, this charity event organised by
imperial singsoc. it was great. seriously, i think they charged too
little for the tickets. 3 pounds for so many performances. quite a
bargain, even without the cause for charity. it was quite an experience
to perform on saturday. i was frickin' nervous.
the last two times i performed was in aj and in the navy. in aj, when
me and my classmates did the talentime, we really had the talent in
nigel. so i guess wasn't that nervous. of course, there were like a
trillion guitars playing at the same time then. in the navy, needless
to say, we were a complete band with drums, keyboards, bass, two
guitars. and we were after all doing it in front of our familiar fellow
navy mates. yeah, it was this charity thing that got me so nervous.
there was just me and joseph. no offense to joseph, we were both quite
amatuerish. right, joseph? no? haha. yeah, our two singers marvin and
yang wen were superb. so that covered our asses probably. anyway, the
worst part i guess wasn't playing the guitar. but being forced to sing!
i have to blame some people on that. firstly, i decided to be funny one
day and tried to do the saxophone solo using my voice. that occured at
home and suzi dared me to do it in front of my band during one of our
practises. so i did. you should see yang wen's face when she saw me
wincing and trying to reach the notes. she was laughing her head off.
marvin wasn't that surprised 'cos he's crazy as well. but they all
coaxed me into doing it. and being the man i am, i agreed. i don't know
how i sounded. but i'm glad no glass broke. i think. it was like a
short 5 seconds of singing. and i have to say, it goes out to those
friendly buggers who bought light sticks and shouted something before
we began. so thanks ee debuggers. nevertheless, i would have to concede
that my brilliant performance wasn't as good as kaileng's kaileng
minogue dance right at the end. you go girl!

| haven't had time to ponder about life. there's just so much to do this
year, and so little time. so naturally i've stopped thinking about
life. until now, that is. yeah, not thinking about life can be bad. you
get so caught up with things that you become unaware of where you're
heading or what you're going for. then one day, you realise you're
totally lost. anyway, i have had a little time to think about life
today. i don't really know what i'm looking for. some people
will tell me that i should focus on my exams. they're after all the
key to your future. but ok, what do we want for our future? degree for
a job, job for money, money for food, car and house, foodcarhouse for
family, family so that you have a family.. yadayada. some will say
"just live your life to the fullest" and have as much fun as
possible. and others, who probably make some sense, tell you to
focus on your spiritual being. after all, that's what that makes us
different from being lame animals... ok whatever. yeah, i can bet
most of you reading this have no clue where you're heading to.
i'm right, ain't i?
alright, i'll leave you to think about your
life. oh, just an article i read about few weeks ago.. yeah, do think about
you act.. remember.
Welsh rugby fan cuts off testicles after win
LONDON (Reuters) - A Welsh rugby fan cut off his own testicles to celebrate Wales beating England at rugby, the Daily
Mirror has reported.
Geoff Huish, 26, was so convinced England would win Saturday's match he told fellow drinkers at a social club, "If Wales win
I'll cut my balls off", the paper said on Tuesday.
Friends at the club in Caerphilly, south Wales, thought he was joking.
But after the game Huish went home, severed his testicles with a knife, and walked 200 metres back to the bar with the
testicles to show the shocked drinkers what he had done.

| finally i have something interesting to say!
this certain guy, named zhang li hao, emailed a whole lot of people in my college, asking for accomodation. he has emailed suzi before and i promise that THAT email (sent to all chinese with surnames beginning with 'z') was ten times funnier with a whole lot more greetings.
anyway, here's what he said:
"Hi!
I have not seen you for many days. How is everything with you? I am going to visit London for a meeting in Feb 25 and with another one in Feb 27. I want to stay from Friday to Saturday for two nights before taking my friend's car back to Kent on Sunday. I just wonder if you can find me suitable accomodation in London to stay for two days ?
Many thanks
Lihao"
interestingly, he was right to say he has not seen me for many days (21 years worth of days to be exact). i don't know whether to reply him, for fear that he might hack into my computer or send me even more weird stuff. but if you wanna reply him on behalf of many others who has received his emails, you can ask me for his email address. el es muy interesante y extrano.
