Busy weekend coming up.  will ha(rdcore)  -o_o-

14 Days till IRS!

The Iron Ring Stag.  It meant nothing to me until this term.  But boy am I excited!

It's an all-day celebration.  Of drunkeness.  We start bright and early at 6am with (beer) boat races.  8am we have our departmental champagne breakfast.  Keep drinking until IRC, the Iron Ring Ceremony, where we receive our Iron Rings.  Drink more until IRS, which starts @ 9pm.  Then all hell breaks loose.

I think they put it just before our reading week(end) for a reason.  It'll prolly take us a week to get over our hangovers.  lol

Me nerd

I've been nerding it out for the past little while - hence the lack of entries.  I plan on nerding it out for the rest of the term (minus IRS/Pinkathon/Gradball).  The courses i'm taking right now are relevant for the work I'll be doing, so I wanna be on top of things.

I totally underestimated my econ course.  I think I'm going to fail my midterm...

This term is a lot harder than I expected.  I'm falling WAY behind.  NOT good.  ><

Hitting the slopes in Vermont this weekend...

... I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Over 1/3 of my class is going on this trip, and over a hundred other UW alumni as well.  That's FOUR coach buses!

We've got slopeside cabins and 3 days of lift tickets.  I hope the weather holds up!

Nikon D70s?

So I'm back in my "I'm going to get a digital SLR" phase again.  This time it's the Nikon D70s.  I'm 75% sure I'm going to get it.  I just wanna check it out in the store and make sure I get my monies on time.
