Tradition is a trap that allows people to stick their heads in the sand. Everything in the past was so quaint, so charming. Times were simpler. Kids didn't have sex. Neighbors knew each other. It's a freaking fairy tale. Things sucked then too. It just sucked without indoor plumbing. ~Luke Danes

Last xanga entry of my life...going out with a bang!!!

I decided to quit xanga on this day exactly, because it is the same day that Aaron quit his xanga, in his senior year. His xanga is "supertalon", if you wish to check it out. I'll still talk to a few of you on here, if we don't already talk in person or on instant messanger. The drama, the love...it's all been in good fun...or...pure hatred.

First off, top five xanga moments...
1) Starting xanga to get back with Aaron when we broke up, corny...but it worked!
2) All the drama with Leah "slutty ho-bag, I suppose" LaBounty...psycho bitch!
3) All the drama with Megan Dahl, because she's jealous of our fast motorcycles.
4) Comments from Aaron when in San Fran, New York, Corpus Christi, and Europe.
5) Most important, getting to know old friends from Grand Forks! Viking Elementry!!!

MY TOP TEN FAVORITE ICONS OF ALL TIME!

Aaron got me an iPod Nano and leather gloves for Valentine's!

Few of my senior pics, I also have shirtless hockey ones, just like the boys!
High school state hockey this week, I have mixed feelings. I do miss the competitive atmosphere of high school hockey, playing with all the girls I grew up around. But it's not as fun as our Minnesota high school and Concordia College rivals with my hockey team, the Fargo Fury. And really...our hockey team could kick the shit out of any North Dakota high school team. Fury hockey forever...I think I may get our logo as a tattoo.

Because of the optical nerve damage from my head injury, it's hard to get a job, since my almost 20/20 vision turns on and off like a light switch...

I have had two job offers from the MeritCare Child Development Center, so my plan is I'll probably just get in with Kelly Services for a temporary job, until the job I was offered at MeritCare opens up this summer. Who wouldn't want to be surronded by this joy all day long?! I can't wait, it'll be great!

          ~ Happy Valentine's Day ~

Today is going to be the best day ever! I'll update later...

Valentine's Day...it started at 12:01 AM, Aaron and I were probably the first couple in Fargo to have Valentine's Day dinner, we ate at Denny's. Then he brought me home, and I started to work on part of his gift, but I won't tell you about that until Friday, because that's when he is getting that part of his gift. I finished working on his gift at about 5:30 AM, I went to bed, then woke up exactly two hours later to start getting ready. Aaron came over at 10:30, because I made him breakfast. First he opened his presents, I got him: an expensive beard trimmer (ha! He was expecting to get a battery-powered Fusion, that's what he kept hinting about!), a super-soft huge micro-fleece blanket (yellow and white diamond/square pattern), a pair of pajama pants that match the new motorcycle helmet he's getting (old warplane, hot chicks air-brushed on), bubble gum bubble bath (my favorite!), and we also got matching "His" and "Hers" mugs! For breakfast, I made him all of his favorites: heart-shaped pancakes, scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, fried potatoes, bacon, orange slices, and orange juice. Then we went to the MeritCare Child Development Center, dropped off some toys I bought for the babies, wished Daymon a happy first birthday, then we stayed there for about two hours. Aaron got to hold his first baby ever, Dorian! He looked scared out of his mind, and KrisAnn said, "don't drop him"(way to scare him more!). Autumn (four months old) had a huge crush on Aaron, it was pretty cute! I got a really cute birthday present from the women that work there too! After that, we went over to Rob's to help him put brakes on the Cutless. Then we went back to my house for a bit to drink hot chocolate and warm up, then rented a movie, and went back to Aaron's place, and I just spent the night there. Rob woke us up at noon to go to Duanes for lunch, then Aaron and I went to get his car washed (my mom's Valentine's Day present to Aaron), and I just got home right now. I can't wait until Friday, Aaron and I are going to Sioux hockey, and I also get my Valentine's Day present on Friday!!!

Breakfast I made for Aaron, aren't our matching mugs the cutest?!

I attempted to write "sweetheart" with maple syrup on his plate.

My man freezing his buns off, working on Rob's car.

I took the picture from inside Aaron's car...

Baby Dorian, that Aaron got to hold at MeritCare.

So I went over to a couple's house today to drop off a bouquet of flowers for their new baby girl, and you wouldn't believe my shock when I saw the newborn. She was delivered by caesarean section, and the doctor cut too deep and sliced her forehead with the scalpel! I mean, it's enough of a shock after birth, for a baby to have to start breathing on it's own by getting a smack on the bottom, but screaming in pain from a freaking blade to her forehead?! I don't think that was necessary...I would cry too! : ' (

Well, yesterday's plans were shot. Aaron and I were going to spend the entire day together, applying for jobs and shopping, but he had to fix two cars yesterday. Aaron didn't get over to my house until about 3:00 in the afternoon, and we went to pick up a Slap Shot pizza for the guys at Jiffy Lube, since they let Aaron work on a car in their bay. When we got to Jiffy Lube, Aaron made a really funny joke. Tater said, "Andy, there are two gaskets on this car." Aaron's reply, "Double seal protection! Just like wearing two condoms..." Quite ironic for the guy who wears none. So we talked to Aaron's brother for a few more minutes, then we decided to go get a table at the Outback before it got too busy, because we were all meeting there in about twenty minutes. Dinner was a lot of fun! It was all of Aaron's family and me. After that, Aaron and I went back to my house. We had a grand time, chasing the dog around with remote controlled cars, then we got the great idea to put Milk Bones in the seats of the cars, and make Willy chase after them. Andrea had a funny line last night too. I said we saw Brandon at Gateway Chevrolet, and my sister has the hots for him, so she said, "That short brown hair and goatee...hot!" Aaron then replies, "me?!" It was so funny, because that completely describes Aaron, my dad just lost it laughing. After awhile, Aaron and I went back to his apartment to watch the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, then I spent the night there. And now here I am at home, my dad and I are going to go hunting for cales in just a minute. My parents got a letter in the mail yesterday from Fargo North, asking for money to be given to the Senior all night party. And guess what my mom told me and Aaron? Her exact words, "I'll just give you guys money, and you can have your own senior all night party. Is that okay?" Hell yes, that's okay!

My party is going to blow away the senior all night party.

These are the before and aftershots of Aaron's haircut. I didn't take an after shot the night I cut it, because he didn't have gel in his hair, and it looked like he had a major bowl cut. But now he looks like himself again!

So I guess the whole proposal thing was a huge mistake... : (  He was just responding to the contest post! Yet why he used my username in his entry...I have no idea! His username is Murdock1960, and I am Ranger_Compact. Make sure to scroll down and read my response to the proposal and his username. Then another guy responds to it, saying I would only want Murdock if he has an auto body shop, because of the snowmobile! Murdock responds back saying he wants to talk sometime. (He responded later saying he had a few too many when he typed it.) Likely story...jk. It's all in fun!

Just my luck...

Last night driving down 13th Ave. about to turn onto 10th St., I was in the inside turn lane and a truck was in front of me in the outside turn lane with a snowmobile sitting on his tailgate. It made me think back to when I hit that snowmobile on University, then all of the sudden, he decides to turn left into his driveway, didn't see my car, and the front end of my car went under his snowmobile! My car didn't fare as well this time as it did last time, not too bad though. I have a crease going through the middle of my hood now, just before I was going to trade it! The two guys in the truck were handsome little fellas and they tried sweet talking me, then tried to convince me I could just buff it out! It's scratched through the metal! Hopefully the cell number he gave me was really his, not just some phony, but if all else fails-I know where he lives...

So today I was driving down University here in Fargo, and some dipwad in a Dodge Dakota tries to cut in front of me to get on to the road. He lost control on the ice, and his ginormous snowmobile came crashing out of the back of his pickup, and right in front of my car on the road. (He didn't have a single strap holding it down.) Needless to say, that snowmobile won't be up and running for awhile. I don't know if it was the hitting the ground part or me hitting it, but part of the shell got ripped off, windshield cracked, and there was plastic everywhere.

So I hit another snowmobile, go me! Right before I was going to trade my car too, now my hood needs some major repair, aka: a new hood. I woke up with a horrible CVS episode today, my new medication works great at cutting back my nausea, but it tasted so bad, that I gagged and threw up anyways, it was awful! But my day only got better from there...Aaron bought remote controlled cars for us! He bought himself a Shelby Cobra and bought me a Scion xB. I went to watch Bryno play basketball tonight, Red River beat Fargo South in overtime, it was intense!!! Then during the game, they announced the Fargo South vs. Fargo North girl's hockey game, and South won!!! Tonight was a great night in sports history, at least I'll always remember it! I gave Aaron a haircut, it looks hot, and he no longer looks like a long lost member of the Beatles! We also picked up the rest of Rob's sectional for the apartment last night, so now the living room is complete. It's a boy's night tonight, working on cars. Aaron, Rob, and Andy are fixing Terry's car...so...I guess I'll just have to watch a chick flick or something! Oh, yeah. I got proposed to on nodakoutdoors the other day. cRaZy!!! Here's a great CVS poem for you:

I know it's always there,
Waiting to strike;
I know you all care,
But this is my fight.

I count down the days,
Wishing it not to come;
I feel the first faze,
But, I know I can't run.

I hope for a cure,
To this ugly disorder;
Until then I pray,
Each occurrence will get shorter.

Thank you for listening,
To my feelings and fears,
Thank you for helping,
Dry the children's tears.

Dominic Gallardi, age 14

Thank you, Aaron. For always being there!

    My Valentine!!!

Love this girl to death! Seriously this seeing eachother once a year is bullshit! I went to the North vs. Grand Forks girl's hockey game tonight. Katie Valentine plays for Grand Forks (And guess what?! She's captain too!), She sure whooped some ass! North played pretty sloppy and they have a few greedy players that don't like to share the puck!

I am officially a shop-aholic. I went to the mall today with the intentions of only returning a shirt my mom got me for my birthday...guess what I came home with?! Six pairs of jeans-Ralph Lauren Polo, Calvin Klein, Missy Me, Vigoss Studio, Vanity, and Mavi (now I see why Aaron is so in love with his Mavi jeans I bought him-kinda spendy-but definatly worth the money-they are so comfy!) I also got a really cute Ralph Lauren skirt-my dado loves it! Get this...it is a pink courderoy skirt with a green belt and mallard drakes embroidered all over it! I got a pair of Younique jean gauchos, super cute! And a pair of Hurley jean shorts. I also got a really cute Playboy Bunny belt-it's black leather with rhinestones and bunny embellishments on it-and a honkin' big bunny beltbuckle. I got Aaron four of these plates that he just loved at Marshall Field's-I figured if a guy would actually point out a place setting he liked, I'd better buy it for him! I also got him a matching mug, because he has my Cowboy Up mug now. I bought Rob's girlfriend the sequel DVD pack to the game Scene It. And I also bought this cute little graduation book. Then tomorrow I'm probably going to make a Target and Scheel's run.

Ahh..Target is love. I can't wait to have a picture taken of Aaron and I with our matching Mavi jeans on! We both have the same style now-bootcut/lowrise. I definatly adoring my "milkshake" now, with all my new clothes! And you wonder where I get the money to shop like this? Definatly don't have a job...except for being spoiled rotten! Aaron was talking to Charlie the other day about what kind of job I should get, and he told Aaron to just keep me as a housewife! Isn't that great?! Aaron was in the doghouse the other night-Rob informed me that Aaron only ate half the loaf of homemade bread I spent all day and night baking, because it got moldy before he had a chance to finish it.

If you could, please help a fellow soldier, vote for this guy-
