| Friday 11 April 2008Hehe I had a very very good week, I am sleeping as a log, and had lots of things to do this week  The only thing that annoyed me this week was that the rubbish shoot next to my flat is blocked, and people just leave their rubbish in the corner instead of bringing it downstairs  Sunday was good fun, had a very nice lunch in Taurus, a bucket full of mussels, and New York New York brought many laughs watching the old drag queen, back on Sundays, like in the good old days, she even remembered Danceteria, my favourite club when I first started visiting Manchester, dancing the night/morning away on disco biscuits LOL, and having sex for days afterwards  Monday's meeting saw the return of CHART, my flats tenants association, with me now on board, and the development of a tenants association and a website for the whole of The Islington Estate  Tuesday I got offered a 2 bedroom cottage flat by Manchester City Council in Collyhurst Village, for which I have many ideas to get the best out of it  Wednesday meeting was a very good experience too... being trained in Urban Design by Hugo Nowell of Urban Initiatives, and the first time I visited the headoffice of Salix Homes, although the cab who collected us was 1/2 hour late, food was fab  Thursday I had to laugh by Pete Burns visit to Manchester, I do not blame him, my parents stayed in the Palace Hotel they wanted to put him in, it is wrotten, good I did not go to the Bird Cage, as I wanted to on Tuesday night  Today I had my last radiotherapy in Christies for now, and discovered AXM closed down, by reading the Manchester Evening News, not surprised, it was a dump  Looking forward to the weekend, I am having a wild one  Hope you do too... hehe  | | |
| Sunday 6 April 2008Hehe, I am having a brilliant weekend Although I did not go to Kink as expected last night I did have a good old night, as my old neighbour called me on Saturday, with a deal on sweeties not to be missed My gold card also arrived on Saturday, and I am worth a small fortune now LOL credit crunch, I do not know what it means for myself, I could buy my little council flat outright, just on credit, if would want to do so Because of this I thought fuck it, and bought two new black leather sofas Lovely, will post a picture when I get them hehe... | | |
| Wednesday 2 April 2008I had a really good start of the day, when the mail arrived, Citi Cards sent me a pin for a Citi® / AAdvantage® Visa® Gold Card, so my application must have been aproved Citibank refused me a current account I really wanted last year But with this new credit card I get automatically 5000 American Airlines airmiles and reduced award travel, down from 40000 miles to 30000, so I can go to America now when I want, keep my miles live so they do not expiry, and use the surplus miles for car hire, as I just learned from a mate of mine on Fitlads, Dollar Rent a Car does Chrysler 300C's for hire in America, my dream car, as my mate hired one for two weeks in Florida Started eight days of radiotherapy again today, and I had the quickest session ever today in Christie Hospital, ten minutes including seeing the doctor Brilliant | | |
