WHAT IS LIFE

Prof. K.T.S. Sarao

ĐỜI LÀ GÌ

Việt dịch: Lê Bích Sơn

Life is a challenge… meet it.

Life is a gift… accept it.

Life is an adventure… pare it.

Life is sorrow… overcome it.

Đời là nỗi đau, hãy vượt qua.

Life is tragedy… face it.

Đời như tấn bi kịch, hãy chịu đựng.

Life is duty… perform it.

Đời là bổn phận – trách nhiệm, hãy thực hiện.

Life is a game… play it.

Đời là một ván cờ, hãy đánh cuộc với nó.

Life is a mystery… unfold it.

Đời là một điều bí ẩn, hãy tìm cách mở ra.

Life is a song… sing it.

Đời là một bài ca, hãy vui ca hát.

Life is an opportunity… take it.

Đời là một cơ hội, hãy nắm lấy.

Life is a tourney… complete it.

Life is a promise… fulfit it.

Life is love… discover it.

Đời là tình yêu, hãy khám phá.

Life is beauty… praise it.

Đời là vẻ đẹp, hãy ca ngợi.

Life is truth… realise it.

Đời là chân lý, hãy thấu hiểu.

Life is a struggle… fight it.

Life is a puzzle… solve it

Life is a goal… achieve it.

Some pics captured from this past weekend event on May 6, 2007:

Everyone seems to have a good time enjoying the musics, foods and performances by the lead singers, ... thanks to all that came as well as the performers, and of course the organizers for their hard work and efforts to help raise charity money for handicapped school and kids in Vietnam.  The filming of this event will be on DVD and made available for anyone interested.

Unfortunately, this event did not raise enough money to send back to Vietnam, due to not enough tickets sold and the high expenses of the whole progam.  However, the organizing committee hope to sell enough of the DVDs, and what ever donation people want to make, to go directly to this handicapped school and children in the small town of Kien Giang, Xa My Lam, Huyen Hon Dat -Vietnam, which is not well known to many and does not get much help.  Any kind of donation will be much appreciated.  Thank you.

Earth Lady

The rhythm successions of the drums cause your body to sway with each inner beat.

Deep from the mother land you hear them speak with each beat you tell their storiesof pain, suffering and love.

Deep from the earth your feet feel the cries of the old ones that are long gone; with each movement of your body you tell their stories.

EarthLady your smile will warm the hearts of all who come in contact with you; you are always ready to share your knowledge with everyone that will take the time to sit with you.

EarthLady continue to dance to the drums, continue to tell the stories with each beat, listen to the voices from the earth and tell the beautiful stories indance from the mother land from the Earth.

Dance on Earth Lady, dance on to each beat of the drums, tell the stories; don’t stop; tell the stories....
