I love the weather. Especially when it's severe. Something so powerful and yet it holds a certain beauty as well. It's amazing what kind of sites nature can cook up for us, both challenging and lovely at the same time. I'm going outside to play some disc golf. booyah.

Portland and Vancouver are amazing cities. They both have extremely beautiful scenery as well as a friendly cosmopolitan feel.

Sometimes something comes back, and I get confused. Fuck being confused I won't allow it! So therefore... ya. Exactly.

Well I saw the greatest concert this year. Came to realizations. Had a birthday and party. Got a Boulevard Wheat Keg. Drank it all. Had a blast. Started writing in sentence fragments. Downloaded more music and videos. Watched Hugh Heffner get dosed and trip. Received a Camelbak, cowbell, wood-block, new hi-hat, and a cymbaline (a tamborine that attaches to the hi-hat stand.) Also just ordered a talking drum and a portable disc golf pin (Innova Ching Skillshot.) Listening to Ravi Shankar open up the Concert for Bangladesh. Amazing.

I found the best Allman Brothers concert EVER!!! And it's amazing. Bill Kreuztman and Jerry Garcia sit in for the last set... A WHOLE SET MAN!

Robert Randolph was a blast. I don't think it's in him to put on a bad show. I just felt pretty bad for all the engineers and techs because they had sooo many problems.. plus the sound system was very very shitty. But that doesn't mean that Robert can't come back and make us the happiest crowd in the city. The scene wasn't near as good as i've seen in the past as a couple guys tried to start a mosh pit during the encore......... not very conducive to the type of environment that Robert creates, but eh it is Kansas City. The Uptown is easily the most beautiful venue/theatre in Kansas City. I just wish they'd book more acts there as it has a lot of potential to be extremely good! I say that... and Sigur Ros is coming in a couple weeks... That will be the show of this year, and may even surpass Wakarusa. Even though they aren't even in the same league i'm real excited for both!!! Oh Happy Birthday to a Mr Baker who turned 21 this week. Lots of liquid pleasure to be had tonight!
