And so I will create a picture post for the summer. Thanks to the good
ole parents, whose philospohy this summer became "why work over the
summer when these summer vacations will be over after you graduate
college and you'll be working full time anyway", I got to go on three
vacations (actually the first one I paid for), one little weekend
getaway, and spent the rest of the time chillin at home with the
familia. It's been good and it's been laid back, but now I just really
wanna get back up north to civilization.. where fast food places don't
close at 9pm along with every other store and restaurant lol.
Ok so here goes.. I never posted anything about California, I don't
think (seeing as how I rarely post anymore), but that was a damn good
trip with the BFFs Ger, Chance, and Caren.
This one's from Laguna Beach where we spent the whole day laying out.
and yes... I love the actual show Laguna Beach hahah.
All of us including Ger's California cousins that took us everywhere
while we were there (L to R: me, chance, caren, marlon, grace, ger,
diana, rhoda).

I already put up pics from my week at Ft.Lauderdale with my mums and
Ger so I'll just put up one pic. It rained a good portion of the time
because apparently it was about to be hurricane season, but it was
still good times. Met some random annoying ass stranger on the beach at
2 in the morning who kept telling us his life story and of course asked
us.. "uhh so do you guys speak chinese or something?" hahaha wtf?

Our new dog Max is quite the lifesaver. If you are out floating in the
water with a lifevest, it doesn't matter how far out you are, he will
swim out to where you are, bite on the string of the lifevest, and pull
you to shore. He's a cutie. The only drawback is when you actually want
to be floating in the water and not pulled to shore.

One random weekend my family decided to go to Charleston, SC, which is
about 4 hours from where I live. It's actually a really nice place to
visit. It's this historic town so every building was built in
1800-something (or I dunno, it could have been some other century, I
really wasn't paying attention) and there was even this place called
The Market, which was this outdoor auction place where slaves used to
be sold. So the first day we stayed in downtown Charleston and then the
next day we went to this island nearby called Kiawah Island and went
swimming at the beach there.

Then on another weekend we went to this place in Georgia called Helen,
which was actually a little German town with all these funky
German-style buildings. They have this really pretty river that you
could go tubing on which lasts like an hour and a half or so. It's fun
because at some parts it can be really slow and other parts the rapids
are really strong.. you just have to be careful with the shallow parts
where your ass might hit the rocks at the bottom. I don't have any pics
of the actual tubing experience because my camera would get wet, but
here's a pic of the river:

And then the Cueva family comes to South Carolina right before we all head off to our cruise yayy!
Kev falls asleep on the couch so we decide to put Furby on his pillow.. how funny is this pic hahaha!
And now here come all the cruise pictures.. We boarded the Carnival
Miracle from Tampa.. our second cruise ship.. and once again it was
another crazy amazing Deiparine/Cueva vacation. Food and drinks around
the clock, snorkeling in crystal clear water, beaches, dancing it up at
Frankenstein's, and yummy British workers hehehe. We stopped at Grand
Cayman, Costa Maya, Belize, and Cozumel. Me, Ger, and Tito Jimmy
actually went rainforest exploring and cave-tubing in limestone caves
in Belize, but I have no pictures from that day because my camera would
have gotten wet! But anyways, here we go..

This one's from Costa Maya.. we ordered some sex on the beachs when we
got back from the jungle beach. I seriously must have like a million
pics from the cruise of just me and ger holding up matching drinks
hahaha.
If you've ever been on a carnival cruise, you know that they give you
towel animals every night in your room. This one's my favorite.. it's a
monkey!
Here we are at a private beach in Cozumel. We rode on a Catamaran, then
we went snorkeling, and then finally it took us to this private beach
where they gave us free beer and margaritas the whole time! This had to
have been the best beach.

getting ready for dinner on our last night. Ger is tapping some badunk
hahaha!
This is our cruise buddy Seth who we met at Frankenstein's on our first
night. We saw him there every night after that because that's where we
would go dancing til the wee hours.. except on the day we went to
Cozumel because we passed out early that night.
So yes, it was a very good vacation. Got about 2 hours of sleep on our
last night and definitely did not want to leave the ship in the morning

After the cruise and after the Cuevas spent a few days in Orlando, they
headed back up to our house and we had some good times there.
We went boating and I am only pretending to drive the boat here because
I don't really like driving the boat.. I prefer being the passenger.
And they are only pretending to be fishing in this picture.
We had a mini gathering of family and friends on the Cuevas' last night
at our house.. this one is all the adults. I didn't have my camera with
me on this day, but we used the boat as a diving board to the lake and
we went kayaking in the backyard because my cousin's friend brought
over his 2 kayaks.. it was good times.
Ok wow this was a really long post. But that was my summer in a nutshell. Back to school in about 2 weeks yayy!
