G'day mates

Back by popular demand, here I am.  Life has been quite eventful since July, so I'll write some things since you're just dying to know...

School started...yes school...and I must say, there is not one school that is better than Plano West.  I love it.  The people are awesome, and it's been so much more fun than Jasper.  I have lots of new buddies. 

Hockey is so much fun.  I love the Ice Jets, and Oleg is the best coach ever!  It's going to be a great season, and everyone better come see us play when we're in town.  We have practice sometimes four days a week until 10:30 at night, but I wouldn't change it for the world...actually more practice would be even better lol. 

So, besides the fact that teachers don't understand the concept of 'too much homework,' life is great.  I'm going to the Weezer and Foo Fighters concert with Zac on the 15th, so I'm very excited about that.  I hope all of you are well and dandy.

I really miss my Florida house!!  I miss eating Frosted Flakes out on the balcony overlooking the bay every morning and watching the dolphins swim by and the sailboats scaring away all the pelicans.  I miss the live music on the beach and the kayaking trips and watching the waves all night.  I'm afriad I cannot wait until spring break to go back...

G'day mates

Hi everyone.  Once again, it's been quite a while.  It's been busy lately.  The last two weekends of hockey camp went really well, and I got invited to another camp in Colorado, but I can't go because it ends a day before school starts.  This season is going to be great...apart from all the traveling.  I played in an exhibition game with the Ice Jets last night, and we won which was fun considering I haven't won a game since last season...so all is well in the world of hockey.

Kenton and I decided that if we're going to be bored at work, we might as well find something to do...which is why we brought our guitars...yeah, that's right.  We actually had an audience too...and the day went by a lot faster.

I ran into Jon-o at Carpenter Park when I went for a run on Wednesday. We talked for a while, and I wished him good luck with all his hockey tryouts.  I haven't seen him in a while, so that was fun.  I saw Jessica too, and she was like, "Katie...your hair is...blonde." lol. 

Tonight I saw War of the Worlds...man oh man...get ready for some serious nightmares.  It was pretty much brilliant but very scary.  I loved it...even though Tom Cruise is a wack job.  I ran into Danny on the way out too...haven't seen him in a while either lol.

There's gonna be some fun stuff this weekend.  Sunday night is Kaboom Town in Addison, and some really close friends of ours are having a party inside their own hangar at Addison Airport (cause they have their own airplane that they said they would teach me to fly muahahaha), so we get to sit right next to where they set off the fireworks on the runway.  I'm really excited about that.
