| Well, school is out forever. I graduate tomorrow. I always thought it would never come, but it has. Wayland is not that far down the road. Another four years. Next year will probably go by just as fast. But Emily won't be there...
I won't be here much anymore. I'll still check in from time to time to see if anyone said hi, most of you know where to find me. It's been fun.

Running off down the road, leading the race by 200 meters...
And looking for Stacy : )
| I just got what was possibly the greatest call of 2006. I picked it up and after a few seconds of static, I heard a voice I never hoped to hear over my phone - Stacy DuPree!!!

Ok, it was actually just Jenn calling me from a concert. But still, Eisley was on my phone! Happy day-late birthday to Weston DuPree.
Anyway, TAPPS is over forever, at least my part. Thank you Austin, Whitney, Brock, Wizenhunt (oh and J.P. and WillJW) and their teams for pushing and cheering little Lake country to three State medals (and Mark and his photography skills). Great job in all of your races. And to Allen, Kinsey and Carolyn - we proved Striders can still sweep a battlefield clean, no matter how few of us are left. And most of all, congratulations to the beautiful and talented Emily: 2006-2007 Lake Country girls captain and All-State cross country and track athlete.
Lauri Ann really knows some good restraunts...
| Ahhh...
It's such a great feeling finishing a research paper. That and not having to see Mrs. Workman for one more morning.
| OMG! Renee went to school in Highland Village! She's been here this whole time and I never knew it!
Sorry, for you people unfortunate enough not to know her, Renee Metivier is THE greatest runner of all time and graduated a math major at CU in 2005 and now coaches there and will probably go pro someday.
And maybe show up at Bejing.
And maybe come with me to London in 2012...
| Tired does not quite describe how I feel...
I went to the very last TAPPS 3A District 1 meet of my very short life yesterday. I won the 2 mile with a new district record of 10:05, shattering the old one by 27 seconds and adding that to my 800m record from last year. After the first lap of the 1 mile (a freakin 66 sec. or something like that) I checked out and didn't come back until 300 meters to go but by then it was too late. 5:02 is nothing to be proud of anymore. But I still won so Austin and I get two more highschool races together. And Emily is coming too!
I'm really going to miss the Bracys and all the Faith guys.
I'm going to miss Whitney and Bradley and the Lubbock distance crew (I hope the guys break 12 some day ; )
I really think I should go to Wayland...
