Unlike the last poem "One Love Sink" which i spend 3 hours writing that shit, this poem "The Truth the Asian Know" which i spend only 15 minutes of BSing it and the prof gave me an A and told me to publish it. wtf
“The Truth the Asian Know”
Open your eyes fool. Once you were born you were slanted. When you watch kung-fu movies widescreen is the best. Go to an Ivy League university and win enough scholarship money to pay for it. Four hobbies: study, study, violin/piano, and study. Pianist, violinist, be on the level of a concert performer. (Pianist is a funny word.) Like your mama said, “Be like Yo-Yo Ma.” Should live up to the stereotypes. No shame. You know you are Vietnamese if You have some relative who is Chinese, and You know you are superior to all other Asians. Doesn’t matter who you are, Viet, Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese It’s BS. You’re an American now. Land of opportunity. We all the same. Jackie Chan said “the sun may rise from the East, but this is where it sets.” the West. (I think that’s what he said.) In the South, be not scare of Dave Chappelle He say “hello fried chicken; goodbye fried rice.” And remember, “today's steamed rice is tomorrow's fried rice.” Whatever that means…
Well the moral of this is that sometimes what u thought was bad, it can come out surprisingly good. Good job duno, u taught urself something everyday. stay fly and open

O baby, I fear these tears of mine Drops, neither I nor faucet can keep That sink me below water line Down, down, so dirty deep. Only you, my dish wash glove Can keep me up, above.

Sometimes what u expect or thought what would happen, turn out different. I'm gonna still stick with the present and not look back in the past or forward in the future. I'm gonna just stay afloat in the clear water for now. Christopher Columbus thought the world was flat, but he was wrong. He ventured out and discovered that world is round. Life continues and life goes on. Along the way, he see, taste, smell, hear, and feel new things. It's a cycle. If u give, u will recieve. If u steal from a man, u can replace what u steal. And if u hit a man, in time, the wounds will heal. Sometimes u need to take risk n chance and cross in the red and not always in the green. But never cross in between, it's not where u want to be.
Last night in the car, going home, I thought about it. What if one day I'm out walking in the street and a hobo ask me for change. What if i do give him my change, would i recieve anything from him in return? What if i hit him and steal all the change he had. Would his wounds heal and can i replace what what i stole from him? Maybe. What if i then ran off with his money across the street in between the red and green? What if a car hit me and i die?
Is life a karma? Is life a drama? Life is not simple as a ryhme. Life is not a movie. If i can write a ryhme, i can write a movie.
Anyways i got caught downloading a movie. They gave me a warning. Should i still continue the illegal downloading at school. I don't like making risky choices. This is where i'm in between the red and green. Fuck that warning.
Well ironically the movie that i got caught downloading was Aeon Flux. It's something about the future where you can live forever by cloning. The lesson at the end of the movie was to "live one life once" and make the best out of it.
So i'm gonna be like Christopher Columbus and can be wrong about things, and let what happens happen. Stay afloat and flow. Things will turn out alright. The universe will unfold as it should..
