Regionals was this weekend.  Ah... i was so nervous...  i ended up doing fine...  went a best time ever in my 100 fly (58.8) but still didn't make finals (i would've made finals in any other region though!!! gah... i hate our region).  and oh... haha... i missed my 200 im on accident... but i don't like that event anyways...  so it's ok...  Two of our relays (200 medley and 400 free) got dq'd when we would've made finals... the only relay that made it, the only one that didn't get dq'd, came back on saturday and went a 1:30.05.  for all of you who don't know, that is flipping fast.  but it wasn't enough to make it state...  we missed it by half a second... I WANTED TO GO TO AUSTIN!!!  haha... oh well... 

friday night we went and saw curious george.  i'm not going to lie, that movie was freaking awesome!!!  apparently everyone is convinced that i'm curious george now...  haha... oh well... i think i kind of am...

saturday night we went bowling!  wow, first time in forever.  we had fun.  i was slipping and sliding all over the place, you can ask tracy for videos (they're on her camera).  then  we went over to shawna's house for food and movies.  mucho fun. 

but now i must get on the homework that's been haunting me all weekend that i haven't started yet.  so chau,

ps-someone hacked into my xanga and deleted my background so i don't have that cool surfer guy anymore... and i don't know how to do backgrounds, sharde did it for me the first time... so... if you know how to do backgrounds, help me out.

three day weekend!  woot!  haha.  so three day weekend meant an extra night out and i used it well... watching the superbowl!!!  go steelers!  suckers, i told you!!!  haha...  ok, i won't get TOO big headed...

friday night was fun too.  we all went over to chelsea's for a little cookout.  i love food, so obviously that made it fun enough. 

um... saturday night was a little poker at cole's and then a movie.  before some running around outside... 

but i guess that was my weekend.  time to read crime and punishment...

can a week get any better?  i think not.  aside from the typical school, late night dramas, and lack of hair (anywhere on one's body) this week was one of atypical events; filled with championships, making up, and firsts. 

friday night the duncanville boys went out to defend their district title and did their job in high fashion.  blowing those kids from a place called arlington out of the water.  the night ended with some hardware for the individuals along with the team.  Myself receiving a gold, silver, and two bronze.  one of those silver and bronzes could have gone up a metal color had i gone less than a second faster.  but what would else would you expect?  afterwards was spent pushing coach in the water, then finding a restaurant that wasn't packed, and a happy ending at kidsville. 

well with five ap classes and an enormous amount of other things to do, i must take my leave.

wow this past week was awesome.  how many people can say that during exams week?  haha, no finals for me!  i was exempt so i did absolutely nothing at school this week except sleep and relax and listen to my ipod.  i did have swim practice...  a must.  district championships this friday at 6:30 at the natatorium.  be there or be square.

so on thursday... i went over to shawna's house and when we were driving back from her eye appointment i was trying to answer the phone, close the window, and turn off the radio at the same time... stearing w/ my wheels of course.  well the car started veering off towards the curb but i wasn't to worried b/c my jeep hits the curb all the time... but this time though my two right wheels blew out... yeah...  haha.  luckily shawna's dad helped me out b/c i would've been screwed...  oh well... thursday also was mi madre's birthday so... happy birthday mom!

friday we went to the mall and then just hung out at random places for the rest of the night... it was fun though.  jared is awesome!  he's going to beat me up!  haha.

saturday night was fun.  we went to the main event.  i'd never been but it was fun.  played some miniature golf (but we had more fun doing other things...), raced cars (shawna won...), and took some pictures things... i had no clue how those work...  haha. 

well today is my dad's birthday and we're going to go eat cake and all that good stuff!  haha, so i must leave...

three day weekends rock my socks.  hahaha.  but seriously.  um... it kind of womped at first b/c i had a swim meet and it didn't end until eleven at night... and then we had to go back saturday morning so i had to wake up early... but it ended up ok...  our team got third overall and thats w/ missing two of our fastest swimmers and swimming like crap. 

well saturday night i finally got to go ice skating!  i've been wanting to go forever.  it was so cool, cherie and i skated around w/ these two little spanish kids and i was talking to them in spanish... well sort of... no habla espanol.  dang... tayyar hit his head hard on the boards and had to get staples though... that kind of sucks...  remember what coach said tayyar, "don't do anything stupid before district!" haha... i think that's what he was talking about.  if you skip any swim practices though, i will kick your...  but of course the highlight of my night had to be the end of it...  yes, for all of you who kept bothering me about it i finally asked shawna out!  but um... she said and i quote, "no, i hate you!"  hahaha... dang... i'll just go commit suicide now...  no... but she said yes, so thats good. 

sunday night it was time to put on them dance shoes and go out to cowboys.  and no i can't dance.  haha... but i tried!  give me some credit.  it was a bit crowded but we had fun.  on the ride home though, i had to just do something crazy... b/c well... i am... and climbed out of a moving car and rode on the roof.  haha, it was fun!  i can hear coach's voice ringing in my head again... "don't do anything stupid!"...  but i guess i'll end this long story of my life...
