Interests:sleeping; singing (badly), dancing (strangely), and acting (weird as usual); knowing far too much about American Idol Expertise:Pushing liquid, doing math quickly in my head, being a back-up singer (in my mind), singing fabulously in drag Occupation:Manufacturing Associate Industry:Biotech
- Miguel would actually be kinda cute if he just closed his mouth (take that however you like) - Michael did porn. And the pics are actually online! Nice. Oh, shut up not like you didn't check them out, too. UPDATE: What a DIVA!!! Such drama that can only be found on... oh yeah, reality TV. - Paula? Priceless. I like Idol for many reasons, but not necessarily for its "reality" or "most talented pool of contestants", at least now in season 7. - I predict a David will go home this week just to make things interesting. What does that mean? Syesha in the finale for no good reason.
Gah! Hell week is coming for Urinetown!!! AAAHHHH!!! (*plug* May 9-June 8, dmtonline.org for more info *end plug*) Well I already got sick so hopefully that means it won't happen again in the coming weeks.
I work in the cleanrooms of a biotech facility in the East Bay and have been there about two years. I moved to Oakland in August of last year. I apparently have a rising career as a drag singer. I'm performing in a musical (Urinetown) in the Bay Area in May/June.
Random thoughts: -Wow. Veteran's Equity Act passed through Senate! Write your representatives in the House about the concurrent bill HR 760! (www.house.gov/writerep)
- Alicia Keys singing karaoke badly is really funny. - "How Can I Say I Miss You, If You Won't Go Away" is a song that should be written. And Andrew Lloyd Webber is awesome. - Why does being at home sick feel like a breath of fresh air? - Go PCN! The entire thing went great (and short)! Ya'll did a mini-musical, and like the real deal and I give you major props. Also, "Lost Voices" was an awesome, powerful skit! Good job folks!!! - I thoroughly enjoyed reprising Chi-Chi Kago this time around. Especially with such fabulous "queen"-ly company! - Ugly Betty is back. Woo hoo!

Running List of New Year's Resolutions (in random order)
Need/Ability Level: 1 for BASIC (i better do this damn it!), 10 for AMBITIOUS/LOFTY (good luck, sucker.)
- do a musical, because I miss performing. (7.5)
- stop my bad habit by the end of 2007, because it's bad for me. (3)
- Act more professional at work, so I can be taken more seriously and possibly get promoted by first or second quarter 2008. (7)
- clean up my damn room and then sustain the cleanliness through some sort of organizational system. (1-need, 8 -ability)
- keep in touch with my extended family. (4)
- reconnect with old friends and sustain my current relationships. (5)
- pack lunch for work and make dinner 3+ days a week on average. (2, 4)
- work on one or more of my "triple threat" skills (singing, dancing, or acting) because I'm getting rusty. (7)
- lose some weight (10-40 lbs) because I'm growing sideways. (2-10)
- get more physically fit because I haven't been to the gym in hella days. (3)
- save up enough money for a car down payment and get car payments to work into my monthly budget because BART and AC Transit is great, but taking too much time. (7)
- manage my free time better, because, for example, I sat on my ass for most of today doing a lot of nothing. (2-6)
This kid is pretty damn good. A must-see video if you have seen or are planning on seeing "Dreamgirls" in the theaters, although it may be silly to do any comparisons to Ms. Holliday or Ms. Hudson.
On this note... anyone else excited American Idol Season 6 is coming in two weeks?
