| Monster UpdateAlright foget who ever reads this. I'm writing whatever I feel like writing about. Let's begin with last sunday/my 21st birthday!!!
Birthday: Well, I spent the night studying for my Monday morning biochem midterm. Yeah it sucked. But Thelma surprised me with a delicious alcoholic chocolate cake she had made at Bristol Farms. YUM Merci beaucoup Thelma! I opened my present on the phone with Julie. I loved the gifts. Since I couldn't go home for our birthdays, we mailed our presents. Hey, we have to make the best with the situation. I had school troubles and money is tight (seriously I have a huge balance on my credit card. YIKES) All in all great birthday week. Didn't get to celebrate until Friday night with Chester. We went to Palominos. Hung out at O'Hara's for a bit.. then watched Dark Knight. Then Saturday night, I had work at the Bean and believe it or not I had fun working that night. Jacque bought us dinner. SO GOOD, especially those fried bananas. After closing we went over to Nick's for Elgin's good bye. Afterwards we hit up Bossa Nova. Again... great food. Never made it to Glow, but I had a good time just hanging out with friends so whatever. We drove past the Bean on the way back to my apartment and spotted Christian's car. And we were like what?!?! What is Christian's car doing here at this hour? We drove into the parking lot and I saw Robert's car. Then we looked at the clock at realized this was the opening staff coming into work. We were completely dumbfounded that it was already 5am. We said hi to Rob and Chris and finally went home. It was so funny to come back to the store and think.. damn I just closed this place a few hours and now we're about to open already.
School: I got my ass handed to me this week in class. Midterm on Monday. Protocol on Tuesday. Then Thursday was the killer: protocol, lab write up, and quiz on Thursday. I stayed up til 6am writing everything up. Napped until about 8 am. Got ready for school and went to campus early to take care of my letter of resignation for work study stuff and finally got a chance to study for the quiz. I hung out at the lab and studied. I miss the staff. Jeez, was I wiped out and happy for the week to end.
Work: I worked my first closing shift in weeks at the Bean with Annie, Jennifer, and Elias. Even saw Jill on the clock. hahahah. It was good. It was fun. I miss those fools. The new job at Factor is fun. Real chill, which is what I love most about it. We'll see how great things turn out. I just can't wait to get paid and pay off that credit card debt of mines.
Dance/Sports: I've decided that when Session A ends, to start taking classes at the Dance Arts Academy with Karen McDonald. Well nothing is official yet since she teaches an advanced class, I have to talk to her first so she can gage my level and determine whether or not I'm ready for her class. Hopefully I am. She focuses on Horton technique which is exactly what I want to work on since I'll be taking a Horton class in New York when we go at the end of the summer. What ever I make from the Bean is going towards these dance classes.
Maggie and I signed up for surfing lessons in the middle of August. I am so excited! Also I found some running buddies. Since we all want to get in shape at the Bean, I think I'm going to start running with them every week. Jenn is training for the Air Force and Christian and Jacque and I all want to get back in shape. Like I said, I love these fools.
Ink: I finally have the design for my third tat. It's inspired by Quan Am, the Goddess of Mercy, and by a piece choreographed by Ulysses Dove, Vespers (of course performed by AAADT.) I've put together a sketch of a vase with water flowing out of it, a lotus, and a willow branch. I want it on my left arm, around where my elbow is on the later side of the arm. It's going to take up about a third or even more of the length of my arm. It's going to be so bad ass. I have to admit it looks pretty good with my shitty sketching so I'm sure once I tell Tommy my idea and show him my sketch, he'll make it look 8376584748 times better.
Okay that's all for now. I seriously have to start taking this biochem class seriously.

Picture me inside the misery of poverty
No (wo)man alive has ever witnessed struggles I survived
Prayin hard for better days, promise to hold on [Thug Mansion- 2Pac]
Don't we all feel a little bit like this? I know I do. All within time, kids.
Yeah, that was a random way of me to start an entry, but we were listening to this song off Ell's phone (down right ghetto, huh?) while we were waiting in line for the movie to start.
hMmMmmm I felt like X-ing... but now when I think about it.. I have a link of this sucker in both my myspace and facebook... certain people have access to this and they're people who I have to be careful about what I reveal about myself. HA. But I'm feel strongly against putting stuff on private mode. There could be certain cases when a person needs to put a lock on their stuff, but most of the time c'mon! If you're going to put something on the internet, why make it private? Go write in a journal. If you're going to put your page on private mode, then obviously you only want certain friends seeing it, and these are probably the friends that you see everyday. So how is your good childhood friend who hasn't seen you in over a dozen years able to recognize you, especially if you have a picture of someone/something else up instead of your own? Isn't the point of a myspace or facebook is to keep in touch with lost/old friends? Just an interesting thing. I know it's a security issue, like when I made a myspace for my little sister, darn right I put it on private. But for others, I'm just wondering... what are you hiding then?
Okay, but to be fair I guess I should explain why I said I should now be careful of what I write in here. I just remembered I befriended a person off one of those before-mentioned online communities that does not quite fall in the friend category (since I mainly keep this thing to keep in touch with friends.) Well, this example won't quite work, but like what if my manager at Coffee Bean were to read everything I write in here. Wouldn't that be weird? Well for Annie to know, no it isn't weird. But you get what I mean right? Like what if your employer, professor, parents' friend, or whatever had access to this. You know you'd be careful of what you write. HAahah. Whatever, I'm sure after a month or even less I'll be back to write about the most random stuff and about all the dumb things I do/get myself into.

| Super HumanWeak I have been crying and crying for weeks How'd I survive when I can barely speak Barely eat, on my knees
But that's the moment you came to me I don't know what your love has done to me Think I'm invicible I see through the me I used to be
You changed my whole life Don't you know what you're doing to me with your love I'm feeling all super human, you did this to me A super human heart beats in me Nothing can stop me here with you Super human I feel so super human I feel so super human Super human.
Seriously, any song featuring Keri Hilson... bound to be a huge hit. So I have Super Human by Chris Brown & Keri Hilson, Can We Chill by Ne-Yo, and Hey Baby by Ashanti stuck in my head lately. I think it's because of the summer heat and Ellen's boy craziness rubbing off on me. Any particular guy in mind??... possibly... And it's probably going to end up no where. Whack, huh?

| Mo' $$$ Mo.. FUN!!!!So after the SF trip, my credit card balance was just barely under $2000. I usually never go above $1200. I made a couple of payments... got it down to about $1600... then I decided that I'm going to New York in the middle of September... and to finally sign up for those surfing lessons.... fuck! That puts me right back up to around $2000... even more when I actually get to NYC and start spending more money there (Besides partying/clubbing you know I'll want to hit up the sneaker shops and take a couple of classes at the AAADT.) But you know what.... learning how to surf with Maggie G and spending almost a full week in NYC with those crazy beezies.... PRICELESS

| It has been a GREAT month for shoes. Boneyard Blazers dropped at Stussy and I picked up two pairs... blue for me and a red pair for Julie. I saw the shoes in the window and right away said to Russell: "I'd pay anything to have these!" I managed to also get her a pair of the Fusion AJ5s for her birthday. On top of that I got myself a pair of low top black blazers from Active for about $40. Oh and I also got two tees: a Stussy x Haze tee and a Tens tee that says "I Love Tens" like the I Love Lucy show symbol. Let's not forget my HAIRCUT! Took off about 8 inches! And I now have bangs. I'd post up pictures of everything, but my camera ran out of battery life. Okay... seriously, it's time to finish these damn post-labs and get crackin' on my protocol for my lab practical next week. I need an A! I also need $$$!!!!
