| So I'm ridiculously stressed and I STILL hate greedy-ass EGR people...
But all it takes is one Broadway musical to make me happy.
Today at work I was prepping for the rush and the song "Music of the Night" was on the radio on some easy listening station... a few people were kind of humming along...
Random employees: "la la la... leave all thoughts of the world you knew before..."
Me: "Let your soul take you where you long to BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*vibrato kicks in*EEEEE!!!!!!*ring*"
Employees: "..."
Me : *thinks* " I should enjoy this moment because there's no way in hell that's EVER going to happen again." *goes back to working*
So yeah... I like music. It's particularly funny because Patti just gave me that CD to burn today, and I listened to it the whole way to work, and determined that I couldn't hit that particular note. Then I started thinking... just before I hit the note at work, I had taken a drink of Wild Cherry Pepsi. Thinking back, when Joe and I hit the note in "I Believe In A Thing Called Love", I was drinking Pepsi. Apparently Pepsi products make my vocal cords happy.
In other news... there is no other news.

| "A hundred days have made me older since the last time that I saw your pretty face A thousand lives have made me colder and I don’t think I can look at this the same But all the miles that separate Disappear now when I’m dreaming of your face
I’m here without you baby but you're still on my lonely mind I think about you baby and I dream about you all the time I’m here without you baby but you're still with me in my dreams And tonight it’s only you and me
The miles just keep rolling as the people leave their way to say hello I hear this life is overrated but I hope that it gets better as we go
I’m here without you baby but you're still on my lonely mind I think about you baby and I dream about you all the time I’m here without you baby but you're still with me in my dreams And tonight, girl, it’s only you and me
Everything I know, and anywhere I go It gets hard but it won’t take away my love And when the last one falls, when it’s all said and done It gets hard but it won’t take away my love
I’m here without you baby but you're still on my lonely mind I think about you baby and I dream about you all the time I’m here without you baby but you're still with me in my dreams And tonight, girl, it’s only you and me."

| So... stuff has been okay lately, I suppose. I think I'm overextending myself again. I'll be glad when I don't have to drive out to Coopersville every day.
I feel like I'm drifting away from certain people again (Gotta love that Xanga ambiguity)... guess I'm in a weird mood right now.
Payday tomorrow! Finally. Hopefully the money lasts me two weeks this time. Gotta make the auto insurance payment, which is half the check... and gas is lower but still ridiculous... so... looks like Scott's staying at home most of the time. Whee!
If I could just suddenly stumble upon some riches or a winning lottery ticket, that'd be great.
Bubs: "Grabbin' your butt?! That's not very lady-like!"
Strong Sad: "I'm not a lady!"
Bubs: "Oh! Whatever!" *walks away*
That's from the "One Step Ahead" email, if you're curious.

| So... updating. Yep.
Here I sit at GRCC in the library, being bored. Waiting for 1:45 to roll around...
Exciting, eh?
