| update?no free time + no internet = no updates Pete and I are now "sandwich artists". Ya gotta do what ya gotta do and until I can get a full time TEACHING position....this is what we have to do... So we pretty much work....then work....then hang out with Luke. It's a pretty sweet existence, but I need some excitement. I'm itchin to travel. |

| Wow I suckOk.... update: My job is weird. I want to be teaching, but I'm not. Life is hard. Being married rocks....ESPECIALLY with life being hard. It's nice to come home to your best friend. I'm old now. But probably not as old as you, so  And I saw a house for sale today that I am absolutely in love with. Pete is too. Too bad we're poor....

| My dog just ate cat poopOh and I got a full-time-full-benefits-steady-income job! Middle school study hall monitor. It's not a dream job, and I may still need a second job, but it's a foot in the door. Basically from here any long term math sub positions or full time math positions that open up in the district get offered to me before anyone else. AND it's MAYBE 5 minutes up the road. If I rode a bike I could so take it everyday! Now to beat some sense into the dog. |

| So I'm filling out my subbing paperworkAnd I took it to the district office to drop it off, and I got to talking to 1) a lady who works there that also goes to my church, 2) a lady I've known for years because I was friends with her kids and she was the secretary of my elementary school and is NOW the top secretary in the district, and 3) the SUPERINTENDENT who used to be my elementary school principal who told me that he still has a certificate that I made for him on the computer at school that said he was "the best principal in the world for keeping things going" LOL. So then they all offered to be references for me for other positions than subbing AND the superintendent is going to call me about a full time study hall monitor position that may still be open so that I can get my foot in the district AND get benefits. AMAZING!! I'm pretty sure if the superintendent of a district refers you for a job in the same district, you pretty much get it, right? I'm so excited and everyone I know is a work so I can't call anyone and be excited with them.... |
