Music: hardcore, screamo, emo, some punk, techno, different kinds of metal (death, opera, etc.), 80's, romantic period (Beethoven), "modern" period (Stravinski). Favourite bands: Project 86, mewithoutYou, Nightwish, Showbread, The Chariot, Demon Hunter, Haste the Day, As I Lay Dying, Emery, Staple, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Queen, Dismissed, Blindside, Five Iron Frenzy, The Agony Scene, Spoken, Skillet, etc. Fav. movies: LOTR, Star Wars, Equilibrium, all Monty Python films, Dumb and Dumber, etc. It's so hard because there are so many great movies. I play bass and would love to be in a band. Video games, music videos, fictional reading (Palahniuk is cool although sometimes repulsive), and other stuff like that. Bowling, and golf rock too.

| Ok, everybody. Due to certain unwanted and unnecessary criticism, I will only be making "Private" or "Protected" posts for a long time until I see it fit to make them public again. Don't worry all of my faithful readers (if that is plural. haha), you will continue to receive my boring rants about virtually nothing, and thus watch my "life" unfold. If someone wants to read what's going on in my life, then they should subscribe. However, if you subscribe and I deem that you don't need to be meddling in my life, I will block you. I'm not kidding. edit: sadly, apparently it seems that i can only allow 10 people to read my posts without subscribing to xanga premium. perhaps i'll do that in the future when i actually have money, but not now. i'll probably switch back to public posts sooner than planned.

| Ok. yesterday was my birthday, and it turned out a little better than i anticipated. we got out of history class 25 mins. early, microeconomics was cancelled, and we got to leave after we finished our test in world religions. so i basically had 1:50 of class where i normally have 5:15 on thursdays. very exciting. i got some wicked awesome stuff too. i got 3 cds (Once by Nightwish, Last Chance To Breathe by Spoken, and Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child by Norma Jean) and they're all freakin awesome!! i also got a really sweet outfit. it's nice and i look really good in it. haha. no, i'm not being vain, i'm just saying. i also got a dilbert book which was cool. but Christian got me what is possibly one of my most interesting presents EVER: The Zombie Survival Guide. If there's ever a zombie attack, you know who to call for survival. haha. i know you all want a copy. i got a BIG bag of reese's pieces and that excited me a lot. that's about it. i have a video game on the way, but not yet. i'm sure you all really care about my bday inventory. whatever. i don't care. we previewed Serenity last night like i said we were. it was ok, but if i were to compare it to expectations, it sucked really bad. i think i'll give it a D+/C-/somewhere in there. not only was it confusing, but some of the acting was pretty bad (the psychic girl had virtually NO personality at all, and when she did, it was minimal.). also, i think that whoever wrote it tried too hard to make it an "awesome script" and it ended up crappy. some of the stuff they said was just stupid or goofy sounding. there were a few funny lines, but that's about it. there was basically one somewhat cool looking fight scene close to the end, but that's as far as that goes. it might do good the first weekend, but it's going to flop after that. gotta work tonight. not too cool. i have to miss frankfort's homecoming game. grrrrrr. oh well. i have to keep rolling, so peace everybody. | | |
| Ok. i don't have a lot of time because i have to go to the Serenity preview, but i thought i'd post before i left. today is my 19th bday. lah-dee-frickin-dah. i had some pretty low expectations for today and they were definitely met. actually, it wasn't all too bad overall. i'll chat about it and some of the cool stuff i got later. we watched The Greatest Game Ever Played last night and it's REALLY good. it helps if you like golf like i do, but it's good nonetheless. hmmm......i think i'll give it an A. wow! 2 A's in a row! we'll see how Serenity is. ok. blah. i'm out. | | |
| Today was pretty non eventful. A few things did happen though. First off. I had my abnormal psych test and it was ok. i anticipate an A or possibly B+ish. secondly, i was up til 4 in the morning playing runescape. haha. thirdly, and lastly and very coolly, the new project 86 cd comes out tomorrow and i preordered it online and IT CAME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i was soooooooooooooooooooooooo freaking excited you don't even know. it's sooooooooo awesome. A++++++++++++++++++etc. i think that's it. i don't want to go to class tomorrow at all. oh yeah. and by today, i mean monday. haha. | | |
| i'm tired, so hopefully this will be short. thursday night, there was no preview and i was terribly disappointed. i got an A on my microeconomics test which excited me. worked at software on friday and that was fairly noneventful. i got 3 reserves and no subs. i was 4 and 0 for the week. bummer. not too terrible though. i think i probably got a fairly high % on friday. after work, i saw corpse bride with christian and it was awesome. definitely an A. and it was a musical! i found that very interesting. saturday, i worked 12-6 at amc and that wasn't too fun. then i went to chaperone at the frankfort middle school homecoming dance that was hosted by the high school dance team, so that's why i got to go. some of those kids really went all out. tuxes and nice dresses and everything. i heard that some even showed up in limos! ridiculous but funny. it's ridiculous because it wasn't even a prom or anything. it's just homecoming. oh! and my sister won homecoming queen! i'm so proud of her. i was going to put a picture of me and her on here. but the dang camera isn't cooperating. i'll put it on here tomorrow. or later today i mean. haha. ___oh yes. i know what you're doing. i know what you're looking for. and you know who you are.___i went to lunch/breakfast with chevin to cici's and i was quite a pig. i had 8 pieces of pizza (4 of which were bbq pizza. soooo good!), 2 pieces of garlic bread stuff, and 2 1/2 glasses of coke. i was stuffed dude. we had quite a good time. talked a lot about runescape. it's awesome. then i went to work. that was fairly interesting. i worked with joey (manager. which is a good thing because i like it when joey's closing manager because he's more fun.), tara (box, really hot), and megan (really hot) and ashley (don't make me vomit). basically, ashley is the newbie and she freaks out her fellow employees. especially the girls. apparently there are issues with her sexual preferences or something, which is just nasty. poor megan. she didn't want to work back there with her AT ALL. *shudder* ok. i'll leave it at that. only one class tomorrow/today because my lit professor has jury duty! yay!! i have an abnormal psych test though. barf. and i apparantly have to go over to destinee's again tomorrow night and edit the dance team's song again. oh well. i don't mind. haha. ok. i'm off. considering that it's now monday.........3 days til my birthday!!!!! lah-dee-freakin-dah.....should i be more excited? i dunno. i'm just a dismal person i guess. i dunno. i would be happy if i just got the nightwish cd (Once) i want since i already preordered the project 86 cd. i personally think that materialism is retarded, so i don't give a dang if i get precious little for my birthday. i go without things that really matter that i want, so missing out on having "stuff" doesn't mean jack to me. i do believe in having nice stuff, but the ever present "need" to get lots of junk on certain days is a little much. don't you think? i dunno. i just wish that i had someone i guess. (no offense laura. i love talking to you all the time, even when it's about nothing which it usually is, but it's kind of different when you can see the person while you're talking to them.) oh. something cool about nightwish: they're from Finland!! and also, their most recent cd Once went gold on its release date. they have a new cd coming out on wednesday. yeah. the day before my b-day. is that cool or what? i think i'll go runescaping for a little while... | | |
