| Hi I GuessHey....wow i havent thought of Xanga in a million years, but for some reason i cant fall asleep so i guess ill mess around with it. The first thought that springs to mind is: God is good! We had a leadership meeting like a month ago where we talked about needing to make some changes in the youth and decide like where we were headed as a leadership team and as a youth group. I dont really feel like going into any specifics. We were supposed to e mail Dave with our ideas but like no one did and it just seemed we couldnt get stuff done and then God did it! Like two weeks ago we had a really sweet time of worship in youth and it was all God. Then the very next day Greg says he feels like as an eldership they were going to to take a stand and basically come to the front in worship and invited people to step up with them. it was sooooo refreshing!! there was such a strong sense of the Holy Spirit and that it was just so good and so right. i hope worship can be like that again sometime. Well...no ones probably even going to read this so i guess i'll just stop here... | | |
| ooook...its the attack of weird people who are bored at Panera. First Liesl calls on Bruce's phone, then Bruce calls on Bruce's phone, then I call Liesl at Amelias phone.  Then to top it off Amelia calls me and tells me that she put in my name as Huddle House...then she sang me a song and fell down into some coke. 
So yah, this week since last saturday has been all about my cousins. i love them dearly but im ready to get my life (and PRIVACY) back. We've spent our time here doing puzzles, playing catchphrase, playing poker, watching Fullhouse, and playing video games. We've also been out to eat, swimming, and bowling. oooh! oooh! and i got to go to a Braves game on thursday!!!! Even though we lost it was soooo much fun!

Micheal had a stroke on Thursday and was readmitted to ICU on Friday 28th July. He was taken into surgery this morning at 8am to replace the 2 valves in the left side of his heart. The stroke was due to the infection around the heart valves which had formed a kind of growth. A piece of this had broken off and become lodged in his brain. The rush to operate was in case bigger pieces should break off and cause serious problems even life threatening. THe neuro sugeons have assured us that the brain will eventually compensate for the damage caused by the stroke and that his speech will return to normal. We pray that this will be so as it is heart-breaking to see one's son struggle to talk and also keep his train of thought. The medical team update us regularly on his progress in the operating theatre - the last word at 12:30pm was that his heart's temperature had come to normal and had taken over the heart functions and had accepted the metal valves so that they could remove the machines that were doing the work of the heart while they were busy replacing the faulty valves. We are not medically inclined so forgive the terminology but this is how we intepret it in laymen's terms. Micheal wil be on medication for the rest of his life - he has to keep his blood thinned to accommodate the metal valves. Please continue to pray for Micheal's coplete healing. We appreciate you all wherever in the world you are.

| so this week has been kinda busy...
Monday i went out to dinner with my dad and sis and then to choir (ugh)
Tuesday i went out to dinner with my dad and my bro and then to the youth meeting at the church
Wednesday i went out to dinner with my family and two of my friends and then back to a friends house to hang out
Thursday i went out to dinner with the DeLormes and the Perrys and then spent the night at the Hillis's
Friday i spent the day at Lake Lanier with the Hillis's and the DeLormes and Josh Perry
Saturday (today) we woke up early and went blueberry picking with the DeLormes and now we're home cleaning the house and waiting for our relatives to arrive...
well thats all for now, oh! if anyone who has song suggestions for my ipod just let me know

| idk y but i felt like doing one last update b4 we leave for LA...im tired...and im bored. cause i had to get up at 5 45 to babysit this morning. ugh. and i have to get up early tomorrow. stink. but its totally and completely worth it. I FINISHED MY PSYCH WORK!!! (not like i had a choice) welll...see you awesomely cool people at the airport in the morning!
