Something Wicked This Way Comes

I shivered last night.
Fall is officially here (in my book, at least).

I was such a little fall kid today. I walked up to school in my orange shirt, halloween socks, a mug of tea in one hand, Something Wicked This Way Comes in the other, I couldn't feel my nose, etc. It was glorious. Sad thing was, it was, at the absolute LOWEST, 50 degrees.

Something I'm working on right now is slowing down. This has always been something I've needed to do, espcially in the past few months. Last night I realized that stop signs aren't so bad, though. I used to think it was ridiculous that I always had to come to a COMPLETE stop every time I came upon one even if I could CLEARLY see that no one was even in the vicinity in the middle of the night in some little neighborhood in the rain. (Ok, THAT is probably because I got that ticket, but just go with me here.) But how arrogant is that? How selfish? Am I really in that much of a rush to get home? To get anywhere? I mean really, David. Either leave on time or settle down, fo cerealz.

If nothing else, just for the principle of the thing. That's good enough, right?

Slow it down, now.

You know, I should probably start writing in here again. Maybe.

Maybe.

yeah, so a football hitting your window in the quiet twilight hour of 1:30 sounds an awful lot like a gunshot.

just though you should know.

"the meteorite is a source of the light
and the meteor's just what we see
and the meteoroid is a stone that's devoid of the fire that propelled it to thee

and the meteorite's just what causes the light
and the meteor's how it's perceived
and the meteoroid's a bone thrown from the void that lies quiet in offering to thee"
